Thanks for the reply mate, I slightly edited my OP. I'm going to respec from Occultist Vortex but realise 10ex won't cut it.

How much would you say, roughly? 20ex?

My gear at this point. could still upgrade some stuff but think im done with it for now.


around 37 million shaper dps for single target set up.. kills sirus a9 before he does anything on last phase easy.

you could clear maps easy but youd die in ultimatums and bosses probably.

Best defensive for this build is offense and thats quite pricey.

and yes the defensive layers of the build do work but without harvest and a lot of money most people cant get it and think the build sucks.

Current setup, have a bit too much res so next will probably get a helmet, cba swapping off my belt for even stuff like the feared cuz I need the dex and things die instantly anyway. Can still get more dps leveling up awakened gems, etc.
Slammed physical leech on quiver and reduced attributes on boots which was a bit painful, must not have been closing my eyes hard enough.

Hey! got to say I'm loving this build
But I kinda hit the wall because I don't have currency for any cluster jewel yet so I had to fill some life nodes in tree as place holders

it is worse. Tbh it is always overpriced and for this build it is not good, but as with any build if you got a lot of currency you can buy it and map with it. Will probably shave some seconds from the map occasionally. But it probably should be very last upgrade you do

That's definitely not enough. The majority of the build's damage comes from clusters
Just 2 sets of clusters alone will cost you roughly 20-25ex. 6l bow 6ex. Budget helm - 1ex. The rest of the gear on maximum budget is maybe 1-2 ex total (not including jewels). Anima stone - 1ex, resf of the jewels maybe 1 ex total. Flasks - maybe 1.5ex for all.
So you are looking at like 30-35 ex minimum budget for the build not to feel shit.

But on maximum budget u will be super squishy since u are looking at using stuff like Hyrri's Ire 5l (no life), Voidwalker(no life), Malachai's Artifice (almost no stats on it - i guess technically u can replace it with a nice life-resists ring but it does give a big boost of dps and costs 1c) no enlighten (which means you'll have to take sovereignty in the tree so you're cutting on life nodes for that).

That's the kind of thing people without a headhunter would say :D

But jokes aside headhunter is huge in this league its worth every exalt u pay for it. It allows you to literally afk in ultimatums and do kill/attack ones in like 20seconds. Also you get a lot of MS from it - this build is pretty slow at moving around and headhunter covers that.
