Burning Arrow Chain Reactions // 30m DOT DPS // Faceroll all content

Lovely build! very glad i decided to follow this guide for Ultimatum.
DPS Absolutely shreds!

42m total DOT dps for single target using Replica Emberwake and replacing GMP for Swift Affliction (for maven / sirus type of fights).

23m total DOT dps for mapping with Bereks Respite and GMP.

Overall, the build feels fairly tanky if you play smart and not eat all the easily avoidable damage by shooting and moving a lot.

Lots of different choices for body armor...

I've played with a rare influenced with end charge on hit + phys taken as fire.

Also tried a Replica faruuls fur for the perma endurance + frenzy charges, and the cat buffs are a nice litte bonus as well.

For pure gigga dps, Hyrri's Ire seems to be pretty strong. Free's some dex on gear, and a bit of defensive stuff with the 10% dodge spell/attacks and evasion. Not the best defensively.

I've found that i hardly ever die with any of the 3 options really.

Opted for a Ele weakness ring + Awakened Hextouch with Flammability linked to Wave of Conviction and Combustion. (crafting gigga rares now def felt alot more difficult without the good harvest stuff heh)

Overall I give this build a 9/10 honestly. The one thing this build lacks in my opinion is a bit of movement speed, but it is what it is... feels good surviving and damage is outstanding.

And for the 2nd curse. I also wouldnt say "just" when it comes to like 150 life total, dex which opens up suffixes somewhere else or even passives and whatever else the ring gets.

The question is more why would anybody stay on Malachai's Ring in the end. The only thing it does is make your endgame boss fights a few seconds faster while it does absolutely nothing for mapping where this build spends most of its time. You could even say it works against you while mapping because it gives -60% res.

you need around 89 scorched if you use a ilvl 68-74 to roll cooked alive and blowback.

1. I feel SUPER rippy right now. I am clearing t14+ maps (chisel, sextent, alch, vaal). Overall it's about a 50/50 that something will just randomly pop me during the map. I've all but gave up on doing ultimatums at this tier, and going to round 2-3 almost always ends in death. I opted for cwdt immortal call and ball lightning, in order to get a bit extra sustain, but even that can't keep me up. I have a small cluster jewel for endurance charges exclusively right now.

Astral plate with as much armor as possible and 100+ life. 8% life/8% mana or 10% life as ES bench if open prefix.
Chaos resist (at least 0 without flasks).
Sanctum of Thought for crit protection.
Other supporting armor nodes if possible (Sanctity, Faith & Steel, Combat Stamina).
Swap Basalt flask for Quartz.
"You cannot have Corrupted Blood inflicted on you" jewel.
"You cannot be Hindered" jewel for ultimatums.
Replace Malevolence in chest with Meat Shield for taunt (not tested).
Void Sphere-CWDT if overrun by rare mobs.
Inspired Learning in the Devotion socket if possible (not tested).

2. Boss damage seems lackluster. It's there, and they die eventually, however nowhere near as fast as I would expect it to. Map clear is insane, and I have no problems doing high tier red maps at least yet. I know that my cluster jewels are not ideal at all, and the medium jewel I have was basically just a means to get the small jewel for survivability (see above). So far I'm at a4, clearing t14+ maps, but the conquerors are absolutely destroying me.

Anger and Wrath add max DPS before medium clusters. Take Sovereignty to fit both.
Large cluster with bow attack base and Fuel the Fury+Drive the Destruction for long boss fights. Replica conqueror's efficiency if still oom. Drop mana flask for Atziri flask for extra DPS while it lasts.
Second large cluster with fire damage base and Burning Bright(+160k)+anything except Cremator (breaks proliferation) or Sadist (lowest DPS added). Lord of Drought, Smoking Remains, or Vengeful Commander (+90-100k) seem best (not tested).
3 Grand Spectrum Viridian jewels if enough sockets. Either a complete set of these or the large fire can add DPS comparable to 1 medium cluster.
Storm brand instead of lightning golem for EE, since it can't ruin EE through Flame Wall or be killed by the boss+fail to resummon.

Thx see that, so just need to save up for later gear.

Last question for a bit as i got most of it now and am just farming. Steelskin is manual cast? With the short duration is it really that useful?
