Burning Arrow Chain Reactions // 30m DOT DPS // Faceroll all content

Its absolutely understandable to think that double dmg/ penetration could work with ignite.
But to make it clear again. Its asked very often.

Double Damage and Elemental/Fire Penetration does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for Ignites.


When we lower the resistance with curses or Cooked alive cluster jewel the enemy get his resistance "lowered" so we deal more fire damage over time.
But we do not goin any benefit from elemental penetration.

Damage over time has not worked like that since 3.0. Damage over time is scaled off of base damage, and couldn't give 2 shits about whatever hit damage is, be it 1 billion or 0. The misconception occurs because hit damage also scales off of base damage, but the scaling is now branched rather than continuous. Double damage is not part of the base damage, it only amplifies the base damage as part of the calculation of a hit, and has nothing saying it amplifies subsequent damage over time, so it will not scale it at all.

after i asked what to upgrade, i was told to get more currency for big upgrades, now im sitting at ~30-35 exalted and unsure what would give me the best (boss) damge or survivability.

its always hard so suggest because i dont know what ur aiming for.

I couldnt play with 4 k hp, so first thing would be lose the whole minion dmg wheel(spiritual aid).
maybe even lose some or the whole divine wrath wheel.

for me the dmg of this build is alrdy insane even with 5 mil dps. level to at least 95 with fast maps imo. then get more dps

Lose mantra of flames lose the split personality.

get tireless hp wheel also helps mana cost

get 1 flat life accuracy abyss jewel.

get 1 or 2 small life cluster jewel

annoint disciple of the unyielding get cwdt ic

Ur auras are wrath + anger , becasue of ur watchers most likely.
i dont hink thats worth it.

get malevolence faster dot(cheaper) plus any extra phys (wrath or anger)
u can get a small life cluster with feast of flesh that gives u leech and loh.

and that should all be just a few exalts. then i would save up to a hh ur pretty close alrdy.
and with the hh u have easy smooth fast leveeling

other then that . gloves with temple mod (craft explanation in ops first post)
helmet + better rares, but they are ok for now i think

+ at the holy fire wheel the other way is more dmg

I have the same Lethal Pride (Command Kaom, conquered by Karui) but all I get from this Lethal Pride is +4 Strength and bunch of armor. What did I do wrong here?

The general (Kaom/Akoya/Rakiata) doesn't matter for us because we don't really use any keystones in that area (unless you want to use Berserk in the build, in which case Akoya is useful for the Chainbreaker keystone). The important part of the jewel is the number, which gives random bonuses to the notables in radius.

You want stuff like 'Ignites deal damage faster' or 'Increased burning damage' or 'extra phys as fire' for damage, or 'increased maximum life' or 'phys taken as fire' for defences. It is completely random and there's 8000 possible combinations so good luck. You just spam divines on the jewel until you get a number that gives a good combo of notable bonuses, ignoring the name part of the jewel.

Thank you. After trying a buch of Lethal Pride, I have one with Increased burning damage, increased life but no others mods but running out of divine orbs so have to settle with it for now.

But how do you guys dealing with bosses, like Maven invitation? I feel like paper with my build. What is the most DPS boost for our build? Have about 25ex lying around (and can farm more for sure). 30m DPS maybe too expensive but I want to reach atleast 20m
First time I try a DOT-build and I am still low level (82) and running on mixed gear, but really cool shit. I just wonder, how many golems do you run? I can run 7 atm, but dual golems of one kind gives no better buff (just more meat shield).
League startable with the tempest + dyadian dawn? Any suggestions for league start? Considering between this and toxic rain miner for next league.

Yes it's league startable w/ those 2 items. However, it's not as league start friendly as TR miners since you can play that full SSF w/o any uniques and much cheaper budget. Basically for this on league start, just play any fire spell, flamewall or something until you get shaper of flames on first lab. If you have Storm cloud by then, you're good, upgrade that to Tempest when you can get prophecy. Get save for a Bereks asap as it'll help TREMENDOUSLY for clear. You're off to the races after that.

I'm mostly afraid they will do something about Shaper of Flames or Ele in general. It's over performing and I have no faith in GGG to keep something like this in.

The guide is great, especially the crafting methods. I'm working on building this atm. Crafting is going well, I'm within 2 crafts of maven orbing helm. And 2 easy crafts of getting gloves where I want them also.

My only question is why is the primordial chain so mandatory ? I have read the first 30ish pages, and the last 5 of this thread, so perhaps this was answered in some of the pages I missed. To me the only objective of the primordial chain is to double some of the more important golem buffs in case of golem deaths. Admiteddly, I have not played the build yet, so I don't know about this but are golems dying that often that you need to double them ? Is having multiple golems around providing some sort of meat shield barriers to help with survivability ? Is golem movement speed somehow important ?

There are so many nice things you could get with other amulets, like +2 amulets to buff both BA and some golems, more life, easier way to get dex, % of phys as extra elemental....

I can't imagine it's just a budget thing.

EDIT: I'm a dumb dumb. Figured it out after rereading liege of the primordial and elemancer....
