After crashing can't close the program even through task manager.

Only one answer from someone from GGG? did he die or something? get your shit together
Imagine releasing new texture rendering to help people using less then 3GB of ram increase their performance, only to make literally everyone else suffer fatal crashes that force a hard restart of their computer.

Instead of catering to the 0.3% who are still using a $150 Wal-Mart PC from 2012 how about you make the performance better for those of us that actually have up-to-date PC's.

A person with a $200 Wal-Mart PC running 3GB of RAM isn't going to buy your $400+ Supporter packs or $60+ Supporter packs.

If they can't even afford a computer with 8GB+ of ram at least or can't even be bothered to buy a ram upgrade for $50 what makes you think they will buy MTX that is purely cosmetic.

This is actually ridiculous and yes I sound entitled because the people you make money off are the ones suffering.

The players with 3GB of ram brought these issues on themselves, but the supporters who have tossed thousands of dollars at you have to suffer crashes and hard reboot their PC's which can cause damage to them simply because you wanted to make the game more play-able for the people who only play this as a F2P on their grandmas Windows XP.

If my PC ends up damaged because of all these forced hard reboots I plan on sending GGG the repair bill because they are the ones who caused the issue and have not even acknowledged they are trying to fix it for almost a week now.

I also plan on not buying any MTX or sending GGG any form of money until this issue is resolved because why should I spend my money on a company who doesn't even bother to fix such game breaking issues or even acknowledge them as a priority.

They delayed the Mystery Box launch because of rollbacks that rarely happened, but a Fatal Crash that requires a hard restart and can damage players PC's isn't worth a mention?
I have had this happen like 7 times. Loading area screen freezes and there is no way to end task on program, have to force shutdown. I don't want to die in HC because of this bug!
Any new solution? Nothing worked from this thread.
(I was used to vulcan from last leagues, switching into dx11 didnt help, changing windowed fulscreen -> windowed mode didnt help, all graphical setting are disabled/on low)

Cant play more than 2hrs without brutal crash (After crashing can't close the program even through task manager).
And the overall performance is really bad, even just standing in the HO.
I regularly play from 3.00, and this is - in terms of performance - by far the worst league.

MY spec: nvidia 2060, amd5 3600, 16Gb RAM, win10 (updates and drivers up to date)
I have sent dxdiag data to support, and got answer that they are working on resolving the issue. I hope this will be soon...
Only solution for me is play on vulcan and windowed mode ( in this configuration game crash every 10min to 2-3h but not freezing my PC ).

Its better than restarting manualty PC.

Yestarday i send mail to GGG whit my dxdiag and options iv alsready did on my pc. No respond so far.
same problem please help
Same problem here. Been happening at least twice a day since launch. Vulkan on in Windowed Fullscreen. Always crashes in a map and does not let me end task. PathOfExile_X64Steam.exe is using about 5GB of memory when it crashes. I have to reboot my whole computer to get it to actual close.

Changed my client to be outside of steam played for over 10h no re occurrences was getting 2-3 on similar sessions.
Also moved the directory located in documents so a new one was created, so you can try that first and see if it fixes for you.
My crashes always seemed to occur around the 3-4 hour play mark. Today I played for around 2 1/2 hours, then closed the game and reopened immediately. This has allowed me to play for the last 5 hours without a crash. This could be the easiest solution for now.
