After crashing can't close the program even through task manager.

still crashing since league start. game freezes cant exit game for like 10 seconds. annoying. please fix for next league :(

First time I just hit this problem myself.

Same issue as everyone above.

In my case, I had just started a Ritual in a map, and BAM. Froze. Eventually went non-responsive, but couldn't kill the process. Tried the command prompt taskkill commands and wmic commands, no dice there either.

So now, it seems a hard boot (which is not cool) is in order.

This should be a HIGH level matter to be addressing, given it has been almost a full month since the first post reported about this crash.

Protect your PCs guys... don't break your $3k PCs because of a game.

I have already had to swap out of 2 PSUs that caused my pc to break while playing this game. Not revisiting the game ever again.

i think GGG won't wake up their fking idea until some class action suit on them make major news.

i used to think they have some of the best coders... now thru some mismanagement or whatever, the game is just spaghetti code piled on top of spaghetti code. Maybe they have put their best coders on PoE2...

Lets leave this game to rot then...

Stopped playing as well, not gonna risk the health of my PC, it's simply not worth it.

And I keep re-checking this thread to see if they've addressed the issue, but nope, still no answer since league start and no answer on my email from over a week ago either, just complete and utter silence.

At this point I am completely convinced they're IGNORING people with this issue.

Same problem here. I switched to DirectX11 and I no longer saw the problem with the unkillable game, but the game crashes very often, for 2 hours of the game I have to restart it 3-4 times, on Vulkan there were same crashes + unkillable poe through task manager.
And for some reason, the game does not want to run on DirectX11 if the MSI Afterburner is running, the game simply closes after 5 seconds after the start. I have been playing with constant crashes since the start of the league.... This was not the case in the Heist league though..

To those of you experiencing this

Try WINDOWS KEY+CTRL+SHIFT+B
Holding this will restart your graphic driver.

Bump still happening.

Fix please. I'm sick of hard crashing my pc.

Dx11 makes my game run like a potato and still crashes in the exact same way.
