Stress-Free PoE! RIGHTEOUS GOLEMS (RF): No Required Items! 1-Button Play! SSF League Start-End! 3.13
"You are correct greasypizza! Blind reduces hit chance, but if a character can never miss with their attacks, or ever evade, blind is nullified. In terms of Stun, having Cyclone with this build is the main reason I have stun immunity. It's too slow a skill to risk stun. But since stun is based on damage taken, I personally don't think we have enough physical damage mitigation to remove Unwavering Stance. Feel free to try the build without though and see what it feels like for you! https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Absolutely loving this build now and have even completed a few of the special maven invitations, which was my ultimate goal as a first time player! I can def do Sirius once I learn his last phase a little better :)
A few things that really helped me: Enchants: 40% righteous fire/2% life regen on hit/Commandment of Light- These were absolutely huge and fairly easy enchants to get. I bought a helm with 40% RF and crafted it as needed and only needed 3/4 lab runs to get my boots and gloves done. Unbound ailments Elder Mod - Huge difference when bossing. The boost to flammibility is a huge QoL Replica Atziri's Foible - I was also feel really squishy, but adding this and the enchants has made me a lot more comfortable in T16 juiced maps Edit: Also for cluster jewels I ended up with Flow of Life/Burning Bright thanks for help there as well Thanks again for the awesome build and introduction to PoE Wrecker! This has been so much fun and the guide was the perfect amount of hand holding to get started as a new player and open ended in the endgame for customization. "What great feedback TonyyTony! (And from a personal outlook, I'm glad it was positive ;).) You have an amazing understanding of the game for a first-time player! Good for you! This is really impressive for a first-ever character! That goes to say that this is the type of game that really clicks with your brain. Good for you! I appreciate your posting your changes that really helped! I love seeing what good and bad changes people make and how it impacts the build. Great job with your build! I appreciate your feedback on the guide/build itself. I'm glad it helped you the way that it did. Thanks for taking the time to be so thoughtful. (Now, if only I could get gear like yours...;).) https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast Annnnnd Wrecker of Days' One-Stop-Shop: Stress-Free Builds (& Filters): 1-Button, HC SSF, Item Freedom: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3467875 Last edited by Wrecker_of_Days on Feb 13, 2021, 4:17:30 PM

Hey there,
I think you might not remember me, but we've communed once in regards of a zombie build I think :D I've not played shortly after that since then and just returned, forgetting almost everything. Anyway I'm currently leveling my witch now because I like tanky and the storm brand inquisitor I was trying was starting to... Well, it's not my thing, not as I thought it would be. I love your builds and I am grateful for the work you've put into it. I like your builds because I am mentally semi-disabled, having part of the issues you have. However, I'm going to ask some questions that weren't clearly answered or I was in dingus-mode and didn't see it or forgot lol I love how your builds always favour self-reflection on what you want and don't want, however I LOVE uniques, even if rares might sometimes be better. But since it's an eternity until I get to meaningful crafting, what are some uniques that would fit well into this build? I always find a ton while leveling and beyond and hate them just sitting in my stash :( I've already snagged a nice shield, Rise of the Phoenix (I also love "sword"+board in PoE because survivability is king) that's corrupted with +2 to aura gems (For vitality for example) and almost max stats for only 5 chaos + the right coloured and linked sockets. I see we are a mainly doing a life build here, but I'd rather not use Kaom's Heart since it has no sockets and I don't think I want to miss out on those. Or was it more of a chieftain item anyway? Atziri's foible replica seems very good, but also expensive, I'll get that later or if I'm lucky and 1-2 exes drop :D So shield + amulet are "reserved" spots. Another question is ... I forgot the second question. I'm a dingus. Have a nice week everyone and stay save. Edit: For everyone new to the game; I'm using this flask: It's only 1 chaos orb at the most and saved my ass more than I can count on my other ritual character. It's a nice "Oh sh*t!"-button :D + You can use it twice and most likely it will be filled until you need to use it again. Edit2: Second question was; What to go for? Only life/resistances/fire and dot related damage increases? Energyshield probably doesn't make sense. So armor maybe? Edit3: Got this one here for 2 chaos orbs; Seems good to me ^^ Want to play a beginner friendly, highly expandable and reliable build? "I do remember you LibraExAnima! And it's been since 3.5! Crazy! I hope you're well. It's nice to see you. "Thank you for your kind words of encouragement! I'm glad the build's methods work well for you. "Yup. Rise of the Pheonix is perfect. Good life and max to fire resists. I forget the name of another shield people frequently use, but it gives max resists to all elements. Less fire, but more total. I forget it's life roll too. But people like it. "Yup. We're 100% life focused with this build, but the synergy of the build is pretty dependant on the gems provided in the guide. So choosing uniques without sockets, even the traditional ones, don't really help this build. For offence, look for unique weapons/items that increase the level of Intelligence or Fire gems or have a good fire DOT multiplier. Searing Touch is cool, though it negates the sweet shield you found. Uniques change so much each league and so many new ones are added that I've really started ignoring them...sorry. Just remember which mods are important (from the gear section). Don't sacrifice too much and your choices will work out great. Nice to see you and thanks for the nice post. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Glad you remember me, I'm surprised :D I'm surviving, that's really all there is to it in these troubled times. I've got lucky ingame though and dropped an Ex (My first ex ever!) and bought this instantly;
I've been able to sustain RF since level 47, which is insane! That was a really lucky find. Of course others might not be that lucky, but I've found so far costs very little and even a Foible with less than 2% regeneration costs far lass than an Ex (I'm just a greedy dingus) so eventually everyone can get it ^^ Now everything melts. I'm a happy greedy dingus. (I've skipped a few +5% life nodes for later in favour of reaching the greater life nodes earlier. I know we shouldn't do this, but I can get the little ones later anyway :P) You can look at my equipment if you wish, here; https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/LibraExAnima LibraExInfernum is the character. Seeing a few mentions of Culling Strike being used in people's golem set ups and I'm curious as to how handy people are finding it at higher levels?
I'm pretty reliant on my stone golem being constantly "up" for the life regen so I'm running the CWDT with my golems as a fail-safe. If you're running culling strike, are you guys manually triggering the golems when they die? Are you having any issue with survivability having to do so? Looking for ways to better improve my performance now that I'm reaching later stage end-game content. |
|
I'm not sure what you mean since the golems are revived after 4 seconds and I don't think there are many situations where both stone golems die at the same time.
Since the stone golems tend to do aoe ground smash attacks, culling strike can definitely be useful for killing rares. I don't know if culling strike works on bosses, you'd have to test that. I find it rather useful even though I've not reached end game yet, so my opinion on that may be subjective. On another unrelated note: In the node cluster "Purity of Flesh" we're only taking the 1 node we need to get there. Why? On the big cluster with all the 5% max life nodes, why not ditch 2 (resulting in only 2%! less max life) and get a total of 20% chaos resistance, which in my opinion is super valuable and definitely favourable over 2% more life? Poison deals chaos damage over time, which seems to be relatively common (Spiders, the vaal serpent shooter things, map/mob mods etC) Just want to know your reasoning for this ^^ I'm gonna do it anyway, but I thought I'd point this out because I believe this was an oversight and will help survivability a bit since Chaos Resistance is generally more hard to come by.
