Isn't it per summoned golem not distinct summoned golem? I summon four golems - two fire, one stone, and one chaos. Someone correct me if I'm misunderstanding please.
You got it Jancela! Correct-o-mundo.

Hey guys, enjoying RF build so far, got level 90 and doing atlas by little, i noticed lack of dps on some bosses. PoB showing that i have 400k dps on normal RF and 1.5kk with Vaal RF. Any tips to ramp up damage? Is it gear or is that couse i dont use clusters? Thanks.
Hey ElleWoX!

I'm glad you're enjoying the build so far. I think I'll put in a little more in the guide that I didn't realize what was missing in terms of RF expectations and such. DOT skills, in general, have a lower damage value than other skills to counter the fact that you don't have to do much to deal constant damage. So they are more dependant on items to improve their gear.

So look for DOT Multiplier mods on weapons. You can choose the defensive approach with one shield or more offensive with two sceptres or a staff. You could also forgo Bastion of Elements and go with Heart of Destruction. There's an obvious trade-off there that would be up to the user. (Which I see you've done.) Missing out on Wave of Conviction and Combustion really hurts damage though. Adding uniques to the build will always have some pros and cons to the choice. All those choices are tough with DOT skills. But those are some things that come to my head.

On a side note, you most definitely don't need cluster jewels. They are fun and powerful, but they are only strong if they suit your build and the catch to allocating them is worth the investment.

Not sure, the game doesn't specify unique golems. Either way, since our dex is good enough, I added a lightning golem for extra attack speed on cyclone. Would really like to know for sure though.

I believe you need at least one of each summoned but the 4th one doesn't matter.

Easy way to check would be to summon a carrion, flame and earth golem then go check your life regen stat in the character menu. Then summon a second carrion golem and see if your life regen went up.

The number of golems is the important factor, not the type of golem. You could have 4 golems of the same type summoned to get the full damage boost.

Yup. Common questions get collected and then added to the guide. I add new additions to the guide collectively instead of individually in case the subjects end up being tied together.

Thanks for another great guide WoD!

I levelled using fireball - lesser multiple projectiles - fork (Thanks to whoever made the suggestion in the thread!) plus a load of zombies, skeletons and phantasms. Decoy totem did a lot of work for me as well.

Sustained around L60. Could have been earlier, but I prioritised fire damage for easier levelling - I'm not sure what best approach is though. Really smooth now I can sustain (still in acts though!).

Just a slight warning though: I chose this because I thought it would be a good build to deal with the insane lag and freezes I get in PoE (well known performance issues). It is the best I've used so far. But! When I lag, for some reason the health degen still goes on, but some of my regen doesn't! It's led to some quite stressful low health situations, but no deaths yet.

Now a few questions if anyone can help?:

Cyclone stays level 9 because it's not worth the extra investment in Dex to go higher right, not for some clever mechanical reason? I have bit of extra dex at the moment and I'm definitely going to level it by mistake soon!

I've got a primordial might crimson jewel from ritual. It buffs golem damage, life and aggressiveness, great! However, my understanding is we have golems for their buffs, not their damage. Should I keep and use the jewel or would I get better utility from around 60C (trade league wooo) of equipment (bearing in mind I'm heading to maps soonish)?

Any ways to increase movement speed (particularly when cycloning) beyond obvious boot stats? Any uniques (trade league wooo) that might be worth looking at?

Thanks enp1sw! You're very kind! I'm glad you're liking it.

I'm glad you haven't had too much lag. Cyclone can rubberband you a few times for sure.

Yup. I wanted Cyclone to have the biggest AoE possible but that AoE wasn't worth investing in. So Cyclone got levelled beyond level 1 for the sake of increasing AoE, but it stopped at level 9 because it wasn't worth the Dex investment.

With golem buff jewels, they are most definitely worth using (but just for the golem buff increases). That being said, jewels are always a matter of user preference, just like the rest of their gear. So if something else tickles your fancy more, like selling it, it's not a wrong choice either.

I hate Cyclone for the movement speed as well. I use a Quicksilver Flask for when I'm spinning and I consciously make an effort to run, instead of spin, while moving from group to group.

Good questions!

In terms of cyclone being slow - the Stampede [https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Stampede] is a great unique to use and since it's a Blight unique you can anoint another notable.

As long as you can get your resists where you need w/o using the boots slot it's a nice unique to use. (Currently what I'm using.)

HI gang

I have been following this guide and am currently level 52 running the same links for RF but now with firestorm. not able to sustain RF yet .. coould someone look at my passive tree and gear and tell me what i can change to make it possible to maintain RF? I have a lot of respec points if needed. ..also why does this build not use rise of the phoenix kite shield? IM using my charchter named:
Irgoddess

Thanks
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

I'd suggest respecing some damage nodes (for now) to get to Golem Commander as well as some other max life and regen nodes. Also, properly linking the other golems will add helpful buffs.

The 2nd ascendancy "elemancer" will give you additional golem buffs and the chances to get 2x from stone golem (it's random)

You can also do the cylcone/fortify (of life gain on hit)/inspiration/infused channeling set up suggested earlier in the guide.

Look for a shield with more life and regen. Spell damage and mana buffs don't help this RF build.

Also not sure where your resists are but the helm with -10% to elemental isn't a good idea unless you're already overcapped. RoF can be used but these builds are made as to not be dependent on uniques. I haven't found it necessary as other rare shields can have better stats and the max fire res doesn't do much if you're already overcapped elsewhere.
