Just buy it when you can afford it. Ultimatums regularly drop 3 chaos rewards, so even ignoring everything else, won't be hard to buy. I was at about 70 chaos by the time I finished acts (More actually but I've not counted selling a lucky jewellers touch prophecy)

People need to stop getting hung up on the fact that it used to cost 1/2c. Auxium used to be 10s of ex and is now a 1c unique. The meta and prices change.

Yes.. some of us don't know what these words mean :) What are MoM and Agnostic specifically. Gems, skills...?

I'm finding tankyness is a problem in Ults

MoM is Mind over Matter, it;s a keystone that means 30% of damage is taken from your mana before life.
Agnostic is another keystone. It gets rid of all energy shield, and if your life is below full, sacrifices 20% of your mana per second and gives you same as life.
The 2 work well together, get a big mana pool for more eHP and if you get hit, use that mana to get insane life regen (You can basically ignore damage over time, ignore traps etc). You also need good mana regen to recover the mana quickly.

Downside is that you can't really reserve much/any mana so fewer or no auras. And if you are taking a lot of damage you can end up out of mana quite quickly.

I changed to MoM agnostic, too. Survivability is impressive even with my 1.6k unreserved mana (running bots and clarity). I managed to get 5b1g lioneye's vision but it is still 5L, I hope that the 6th link gives me some dps because I feel the lack of it. Not sure which element to apply EE, using Armageddon brand for now. If anyone care to look at my char, I'd appreciate it, I'll post my Pob soon I get home.

hey guyz, if u cant afford DR, just do the Heist method : reach lvl 70+, then buy lvl 67 contracts to the merchant. Save the loot to do the chaos recipe method : every complete set is 2 chaos, last season I just made 400 chaos with a couple of day farming....so you will see, buyin a 14c jewel wont be a problem enough :p
And for the dex issues, I just looted a darkness enthroned belt (its 1c on league now), with a couple of basic abyss jewels (2c each) you can cap your 86 dex needed + adding some life, ES or ele resists. These are very affordable now. Look at my profile to see what I mean..

BTW I'm already playin with a Clayshaper I dropped yesterday, its saving the golem slot.. but I will switch for a good wand soon.

My first Conqueror died so fast I didn't even see his health bar :) I'm quite overgeared for the white maps I'm still running, but that's cus I spend more time upgrading the character than hitting the grinds I need to lol

Fleshcrafter works but I'm not a fan, when you take The Agnostic is means you have zero Energy Shield so you get nothing from Fleshcrafter besides the dps, which is only about the same as going Ele Weakness + EE. I really like Rotting Legion for chest:



8 zombies means 8% less ele dmg taken, plus the life and free Meat Shield it's a big defensive boon. It's also cheap af, I got my 6L for around 70c, 5L for 1c.

For clearspeed, I link Pierce and Summon Phantasm. I'm not 100% on whether Phantasms are really the right choice, they just feel good to play. It's them vs Ele Focus. I tried a t14 Ulti and died in like the 6th wave, think I just didn't have enough life.

You can try out MOM + Agnostic pretty cheaply without buying a bunch of new gear, you'll notice the differences immediately. Basically, you'll be choosing between Zealotry or Skitterbots for big aura and then running a Clarity. You'll want about half as much unreserved mana as life.

Lioneyes is a tough call to make, it's probably the best 6L for damage and lets you use Wands/Shield, but expensive to get enough blue sockets. I use a Femurs of the Saints right now, which means no shield. Pledge of Hands is pretty nice, especially for MOM with the +100% mana, but a lot more expensive.

I think the best, expensive, final build is:

"6L" Helmet for Skeles: +3 minions, Minion Damage and Hypothermia support
Rotting Legion body armour or an expensive Astral Plate
+2 Wand and a thiccboy Shield, or two +2 Wands

If you check out my character "MostlyPeacefulRitual" that's what I ended Ritual League with, clearing 100% Deli and all content (pretend the Triad Grip is a Beathstealers).

That would be 100+ exalts into investment, not exactly a nearby destination.

I think with the danger level of Ultimatums, going Agnostic MOM is the best choice right now.

Switching to DR means much faster clears even with a 4L, over a 6L of physical. in my mind. I had a Rasa before my DR and it still sucked. I dropped in Phantasm and... something else. Still wasn't as good as getting that DR.
