Been playing this build only for this league so far, with great results, and a super enjoyable playstyle. To the contrary of all the people disliking the snipe playstyle, i find it very original and enjoy it a lot.
Managed to beat A9 Sirus today (not deathless, but that's mainly cause i'm new to this fight, but still quite happy about that), can inspect my gear in my profile. One thing i'd like to mention that isn't covered in this build afaik is that the Arborix makes it a great alternative for a top-tier bow and removes the headache of getting a bow early on. It actually sims super well on PoB, and in practice, it allowed me to tackle everything so far, so this is why i've decided to first get a Replica Farrul instead of a bow, which allowed me to both improve survivability and DPS at the same time. I'm planning to actually swap to Champion once i've acquired a 100% bleed bow, which is my next purchase, since the DPS will become basically enough to do everything, even on Champ, might as well get even more survivability. Will prob go with the Haemophilia gloves for general mapping, just need to figure out how to cap resists with that many uniques, not sure it's actually possible without spending dozens of ex on perfectly rolled items for the rest of the gear. Also my build variant is not using the 2 block ascendancies, but Arena Challenger / Outmatch and Outlast. With max rolled Rumi and Rearguard for spell block, i can already get to 75% attack block cap (with non perfect rolls) and 50% spell block (perfect rolls) easily just with those 2 items, so it's basically a trade of 20% spell block for better map zooming, 10% more damage and 10% reduced phys taken (from Outmatch and Outlast, once the Replica Farrul is acquired). Anyway, big thanks to the OP for this great build with which i'm gonna continue playing and will try to minmax the char as much as i can. | |

One thing i've been thinking about is to swap Molten Shell to CWDT + Immortal Call. With Farrul's 6 endurance charges + inc duration, i can get 3s of Immortal call. I've been thinking of replacing it specifically for Sirus, since his "Die" move is the only move that ever kills me, the rest of the fight is a cakewalk. I'm not sure 35% of reduced ele and ~90%+ of reduc phys would be enough to mitigate all the hits and survive.
The other thing is that since i'm not playing your block variant, i don't get the stun immune on block, so i get basically stunlocked by that and killed without being able to do anything if i ever get caught. |
