Well, sold all my old stuff, all stuff acquired along the way to really build up what i thought was a nice golem end game build..... I am missing something though.... Two spectres died in a hardly juiced heist and then in another heist, i was one shot by i have no idea..... I am definitely missing something.... Can someone take a look and offer any advice?
The obvious thing to note is that your non golem minion are just supported by feeding frenzy. No empower, minion life, nothing. Their life is kinda low, even supported by those, so it's kinda expected they wouldn't be as resilient. You'd have to, at the very least, unlink FF from ag and spectres.
That's the price to pay for extra sockets.

theres so many changes and things people are doing differently, i want to make the golem version but this is a fear of mine as well. im also worried about the AG dying, i was thinking a hungry loop with feeding frenzy, minion life, empower, (prolly melee splash so i can mass curse), + ag
if i do that id still need to lose a gem for minion life in the spectre setup. are you using they of tul for the defence? obv im more worried about dumping 15ex into my AG to have it die but id like to get minion life or something for the spectre setup too
perhaps just the hungry loop and swap the ff for spectres to minion life?

Well, you have Eva boots instead of Es, so you are missing like 400es. Aggresive minions tend to get outside of our auras aoe, specially if you are running in another direction, so they may very well get killed from a crit or something. I randomly lost the merveils retainer from time to time because of it's extremely low life too.
Remember that also our phy reduction from big fat hits isn't that great, and being shotgunned from packs in heists isn't unheard of. Certainly so with rippy mods (crit, vuln, -armor, etc)

FF is best used on zombies angry loop. There's 8 of them instead of 1 AG. Don't need to spend 15ex on him either, kingmaker is like the only expensive thing you need to invest in first. And a curse spectre is really QoL imho.

My spectre gem is 26, two of both carnage and host chieftans. Guardian is 25 and zombies are 26.

edit: i see u use minion life instead of FF on spectre/ag combo and then beef ur zombies up, thats a good idea might go that direction... still need a feww more pieces before i roll the toon

edit 2: does the zombies do a lot of damage? i just assumed they werent really a large dps boost and just for QoL but u linked it with dmg supports jw

Another fantastic reminder, i just had southbound, no curse.
IIRC, last time i checked, 8 5-link zombies kinda had 75% dps of a golem, give or take. So it's like 20%more total dps than plain no link zombies, and the lifeleech from all that dmg really helps them stay alive too.
Don't have PoB at hand, so can't really check the numbers. afaik Hemzo had them, so he should be able to give you a better answer than mine.

im def gonna do spectre/ag + minion life + empower in a 4s, most useful combo for sockets which really just leaves some sort of zombie setup for the ring, why dont u use vivinsect? i should be able to get away with both right?
i really like your setup, im probably going to follow it or something close tho
