With this it seems that my minions and I don't get the frenzy and power charges. Am I missing something there?

You 100% should get them. I've used this setup and it worked flawlessly.

My proudest craft this league.
Picked up this idea from falagar.

1/4 Chance to get a vaaled implicit.
1/2 Chance to hit the gilded fossil mod instead of the socket implicit.
2000/28550 Of weighting to hit the right implicit.
(lvl21 Wrath/Anger/Hatred/Zealotry)

So the actual chances of hitting this vaal is 0.875%.

This means statistically you need to vaal about 11,428 premade rare rings to make one.

At what level should I respec to aura as a scion? Also, is there a POB for SO spectres scion without mirror-tier gear?

You don't need any mirror tier gear to make it work.
So as a scion you just need to figure out where you want to invest the extra 5 skill points.
The objective as a scion is to get 400% aura effect and also use a

The maxarius can be rolled with divines, the 2 mods can't.
This will give you the keystone Transcendence which I started to use below 400% aura and was fine, had about like 87% max res (you'll get 90% res at 400%) but could face tank everything in simus with about 5k es.

Thx, and what about the gear? I'm a bit confused: should I use one-handed axe/sword, bow or staff? I used an axe for a necro, but it seems all scions use either a bow or a staff.

I think its personal preference over what you what more. Also depends on what gems you are going to use.
phys dmg is a different set of jewels compared to elemental.
Since I've never done physical dmg before I won't be able to give too much advice on how you should make it, maybe you'll have to try find someone with poe ninja who is doing something similar to what you're trying to do.
Also why not try using the exact same gears first?
There's not many who are playing spectres or carrion golems on scions.

If I choose ele build, I need to use FAS spectres, right? What are pros and cons compared to SO?

Short answer is you can use anything even golems with ele dmg.
FAS-No need triads= breathstealer= 5 skill points, No positioning, Less dps
SO- way more dps, but needs positioning, must use triads or go phys dmg

The longer version:

The FAS is a lot less dps, but they are pure Cold spell projectile spectres. This gives quality of life (no need positioning)and freedom to use a different glove other than the Triads.
Which in this case would be breathstealers which saves 5 skill points and you can invest into %aura. This will allow you to easier achieve 400%.

You can alternatively use the SO but you will need to use the Traids cause they are pure phys attack dmg spectres, and cause they are attack build not spell so the elemental dps auras all adds flat dmg for each element.
Then the SO triple cast and shotguns.
This version might also be more expensive and bit harder to achieve 400% aura.

also 400% will be very easy if you decide to use skyforths, but thats giving up the ability to afk.

Well I just wanted to thank every one for helping out with this thread.

I have gotten extraordinarily lucky with drops lately (5 passive voices an hour ago, 2 high valued awakened gems last night).

But more importantly with the help from all of you I was able to get 136 sim splinters from Tropical Island (of course). I'll post some images and include map mods for those who are interested. (I am using 2 irresistible tempts ivory watchstones that dropped for me)

I want to show that you can stay golems and still achieve serious end-game shenanigans. 31.5 Mil dps still have a ways to go with upgrading.

Here's my POB: https://pastebin.com/4LvR0UK4
