[3.13] Lancing Steel Deadeye/Raider | Very Fun Playstyle | 4-50M DPS Easy Gearing Path

Just logged out to say that I don't know what multiple people are talking about, saying this is under-powered. I absolutely WRECK maps and bosses as a Raider. The Elderslayers don't even have a chance. Raider's definitely the way to go, I practically never get hit. And in the off-chance I do, I leech 4,500 on-hit.

Also, I didn't even know 9 Frenzy charges was possible, much less easily attainable. But once you've got all 9 (which is every pack), the enemies just drop dead in a split second. Want to see if there's some way I could get 10. That's gotta be a record.

To the OP, you made a kickass build. I'd like to suggest you add some "along-the-way" gear. You state "Easy Gearing Path" right in the title, but then don't say much as to what that path is.

From my own experience, I've got two suggestions that are 1 chaos each, until you make it to the gear stage you're aiming for.

Dark Ray Vectors add an incredible amount of movement speed (45%) and complement Acrobatics with an added 18% to dodge. It's legit.

Haemophilia gloves I just can't say enough about. When you can't get an explodey chest (or want to use Lioneye's Vision, which is 8ex right now, lol), these gloves are second-to-none, ESPECIALLY in the crowded Ritual arena. Everyone just bursts. Add far shot into the mix, and bursting full groups an entire screen away. It's nuts. I'll be sad when I say goodbye to them, but for the red maps I'm doing right now, they are so much fun.

Also, grab a Lord of Steel with the Corrupted Blood mod, for good measure. Pretty cheap, and gets that out of the way.

Finally, just randomly picked up a talisman that has +1 Curse, but never really figured out what to put there. Would love to hear suggestions.

Anyway, love it. Love the whole thing. I played Carrion Golems last time and never really felt like I was actually doing anything... Now I feel like a hero and a champion. Nice work! Thanks!
How exactly are you getting 9 frenzy charges? I count 6

+3 frenzies, as the default.

+3 from passive tree

+1 from Way of the Poacher

+1 from corrupted Haemophilia

+1 from Darkray Vectors

That's 9, and oh boy, does it work well! I know there's a way to get another from gear. Rings, maybe? Would love to have 10 total.

Also, wondering if there's a way to improve exponentially from other passive tree nodes. Even small changed to frenzy bonus becomes huge when you're rocking 10 of them!

What I mean to say is, like the Raider tree and Darkray Vectors, is there anything that boosts dps or evasion, or anything really, on a PER frenzy charge basis? Love to hear anyone's thoughts.

EDIT: Quick trade search shows the only way I can get another frenzy for an even 10 charges, is with an implicit on a ring... 8ex though, and out of my price range right now, lol.

Also went raider and can confirm that it feels way better. Faster clearing, more damage and survivability.

Now I just need to get that +1 projectile on the helmet, which is quite difficult to get with good resists

Glad somebody's having the same experience I did. I guess maybe I should emphasize more on swap to Raider for mapping.

As for the +1 curse, I ran a Vulnerability on Hit ring for one curse and one of the marks for the other. Poacher's mark for even more life-on-hit, or sniper's mark for damage and the insane chain/splitting effect (great for metamorphs or any other boss that summons a lot of adds). I always anointed extra curse on any amulet.

Hmm, can you post a video and PoB? Maybe I've been doing something wrong. I looked at your character and it's pretty similar to mine, maybe I'll try the other gloves.

Do you have 9 frenzies, or more? That's when things really started kickin' butt. Also, the gloves (for me, anyway)

I have 7 (tried it with the gloves for 8 but not darkray). There must by something fundamental that I'm missing- a 25% or even 2x difference wouldn't really cover it (yes, I'm using call of steel).

I'll take a video next Elderslayer I take down. What exactly is not working? Are you dying too much? Not enough DPS? Let me know.

Thanks in advance. I'm not doing enough single target DPS. On the other hand. survivability has actually been quite good. T16 Elderslayers at AL 5 take like a a couple minutes to kill. Rares go down pretty quickly. Harvest rares take a while (harvest bosses literally take an eternity).

Obviously, my gear isn't min-maxed and there are some big ticket items that would help, but I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing something before investing in expensive stuff like a 6L, Dying Sun, Savior, Bottled Faith, +2 impale Watcher's Eye, Ryslatha's, etc. Something like dual curses or +1 frenzy Haemophilia would help, but I doubt it'd make too much of a difference for bosses.
