I'm constantly searching trade for upgrades, it's a lot of min-maxing

I had to downgrade A LOT of offense for defense. sitting at just over 7200 life now.

Congratulations for level 92!

Your gear is incredibly awesome. The only problem (?) that I see is that one of your rings adds fire damage to attacks. Since you actually use an attack, Cyclone, it ruins your elemental equilibrium, doesn't it?

Greetings all.

First, thank you to Wrecker for your wonderful guides and build ideas.
Second, I am playing on a PS4, which can crash from time to time, but with this build, I find it not crashing as much. Anyone else on a PS4 notice this? Might have something to do with not casting spells or making melee attacks????

Anywho, I have a game theory question for everyone. I was able to turn RF on at Level 51. Currently Level 65 and have never taken a character this far. Now, to get to that point, I had levelled with PF or WoC as my primary attack and a Holy Flame Totem as a secondary attack because of the fire damage. While I love the one click style of your guides, I found using the totem to be more 'strategic' in certain areas. Just something that worked for my playstyle.

What are everyone's thoughts on incorporating a totem in place of the CWDT/BoL/curse spot? My thinking is that with the boosted AoE, what if you used a spell totem, Ice Nova/Shock Nova, and a multiple spell totem gem set in place of the other three? Cold would be more defensive to slow enemies down and Lightning would be more offensive for shock damage. Or what if you used Ball Lightning in there with Spell Totem Support? Would I even need multiple totems with that?

The idea is to cast the totems ahead of your character to ensure that EE triggers. Then simply run between the totems and let everything come at you.

Also, in looking at the passive tree, I believe Ancestral Bond is only 6 passive skills away, so in theory, it's possible to get an extra totem, because let's face it, we don't have any attack skills, correct? I could then socket Flammability (or any other curse) in the third gem slot and cast that manually, if need be.

Being a newb, I just wanted to see if this idea has any merit and what your thoughts were.

Hey kallekofot!

Once you're fully ascended you'll find a HUGE difference in damage.

Even though you have an amazing 21/23 RF gem, having a Vaal RF is a HUGE boost as well.

Pros:
I love the synergies with cwdt, great clearer on maps!
Easy delver, i was at 140, without try hard, just quicksilver, and let's go
Very Cheap build ( vaal righteous fire 21/23 was at 1ex in early league..., my 6l was at 10 chaos, like others slot items)
Ready to farm red maps (yeah easy t16, no pb)
Can go to awakened level 5 and more if you Love try hard
Conquerors can be done but, again, you ll need some good senses.
Guardians are Ok but again, depend on your play style and skills.

Cons:
We need dps for boss
Not an endgame boss killer ( i can't kill sirus, and i had some hard time with drox Al 5. Distant memory boss, ...
Average speed ( armour give speed Malus)
You ll die, so keep the good vibes, it's a game

Advices:
You Need a movement Gem on unset ring( lightning warp for me, very good for trigging EE, And you Can spam it on face boss ^^
I finally buy a cluster jewel who allows me To have burning bright and wrapped in Flames passives with some fire dot and chaos res, very Nice cluster jewel.
Rumi's concoction and witchfire brew are a must have.

I choose to anoint heart of Oak, 8% inc Max life, 1% regen and some stun add.
IT was a good choice, if you die you can't dmg things. ( but I'm an ancient HC lovers so it's in My blood).
(Divine judgement change nothing for me so i prefer life and regen)


Some Pob numbers :
RF : 500 000 dps, very Nice for mapping, but not enough for boss, metamorph...
Vaal RF: 2 000 000 but it's very short and you Need to trigger EE for better effect.

Actually I'm looking to improve my character, and i was wondering which is better anointement ? What do you think about Disciple of the Unyielding ?
Also what do you think about Empower support (lvl4) for RF instead of IAOE/CE?

Depending on the Oils you have, I think there are better options than Disciple of the Unyielding. Entropy I think would give you more damage on a regular basis for cheap...in my opinion. Crystal Skin gets ignored lots too.
