right, elemental focus isn't worth it because we rely on ignite to apply some debuff(like cinderswallow's mod)

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! The tree progression is indeed not in very detailed manner, mostly because during leveling it does not matter much which node to allocate first.

I may have missed any change on assassin's mark mod on ring, could you elaborate more on what happened to it? Even if it's gone, don't worry we have many other ways to get it :)

According to the patch notes, all mark on hit mods on rings have been removed entirely from both influenced and non influenced equipment. Instead, we now have the "Mark on Hit" dex skill gem that has to be linked to the mark and applies on hitting a rare or unique enemy with an attack.


Planning to league start with this build for 3.17 and looking forward to the updates! Hope the price of Crown of the Inward Eye doesn't change too much with Sirus not being a main pinnacle boss now.

I will also start with this nice build, but u must know that atm the build use 2 unset rings to get all skill gems in the build that u need how u would do freespace for mark+hitting dex gem? This why i say we could use elemental weakness ring for our second curse.

What think u guys about the new twin jewels where u get an ascendancy point from other Ascendancies of ur class? If we could get like War Bringer from Berserker or some nice tanky ones from Juggernaut?

Yep was just pointing out that the mods were removed, not that the gem should be used.

Nothing changed for this build u can just take it and play it, i think JennoJoyce will update it in the next week, but how i know the build and the patch notes nothing changed maybe the availble of influenced items are not more soo good. We will see what mods the new influenced items give us.

I see, since assassin’s mark really works well for the build, I might look for alternative ways to apply assassin’s mark. The mark on hit + assassin mark takes 2 more skill gem slots.

I think Sirus should be more accessible in new league because it can be spawned by fragments.

elemental weakness + flammability can be an alternative option, will need to see how it compares with mark+flammability in POB

Thinking of starting 3.17 with this build - i tend to ignore meta and just try skills / builds I haven't played before but look reasonable and can scale out as I try to only play 1 or 2 characters per league. This build fits on that front.

At what point during the initial RT build does it start to come together and feel smooth for levelling / general mapping? I did a test run up to a little past first ascendency using ssf test. I expect marauder/slams to be a bit slower out the gate, and it was, and the switch to tectonic felt like an improvement - just want to kind of set my expectations.
