Maybe a bad questions but can i put Desercate and VD in the same Link for more QoL but lesser dmg (1 missing support gem)

I did that and it was totally fine for mapping and non-endgame bosses. You definitely need the two brand setup for endgame bosses.

24 ex down the drain in essences of horror and not a single hypothermia hit, ilvl 100 double shaper/elder bone helmet.

Always remember to check trade. There’s an essence helmet on there for 10ex that has hypothermia and conc effect. There’s even an open prefix and suffix if you want to try your luck on spell crit.

I now have 3 ex left. Lol.

It happens. I remember spam rolling alts for merciless on a jeweled a few leagues ago. A couple thousand alts later I check trade and they’re 2ex each with three white sockets, lol.

This build decidedly sucks at challenges. Southbound won't work because Desecrate Chaos DoT kills stuff.

The workaround I had to do was to spec Avatar of Fire so your Desecrate no longer DoTs stuff. You don't Ignite with Price, so it won't kill the monster either. Make sure to unsummon your spectres. Bring the enemy to 1HP, then randomly raise a spectre and that will kill it with a white hit. (Or just unequip Southbound for a sec lol)

I’m just hoping they don’t kill shield skills in the next patch too. SST has been really fun and I want to make a strength stacking shield crush occultist.
