3.10.2 Patch with Beta of Vulkan Renderer
tried it and no longer experience stuttering when doing my first delirium of that gameplay so i guess when they said it would offer more stable performance than dx11 it was true and my fps only dropped slightly from over 100 in maps to slightly below that at 80-90

PoE tweaker was the only way i could decently play this game (almost ten year old computer).
Sadly, can't use it with this last update as the game crash on loading screen. I don't realy want to experience 3 or 4 deco per maps and vanishing instances, so i guess it the end for this league. Hope Vulkan will help you :) | |
Definitely using Vulkan from now on! I'm able to play with game sound effects again!!!
My fps rate is all over the place, but there's no lag! So I turned on graphics settings (at nvdia control panel) which I had to disable to play PoE without lag issues (ie. ambient occlusion, DSR 4x from off) which stabilized fps a bit more but no lag at all, a little rubber banding with my one character but that was with elusive/tailwind etc., going stupid fast). Also, cpu/gpu load was relatively the same with either directx11 or Vulkan, but with directx11 cpu voltage/temp was much higher than with vulkan a solid 10 degrees difference) also vulkan's voltage changes seemed more stable, less spikes). Things I did notice were: 1) When switching between monitors, the game flashes black for half an instant. 2) I happened to take a screenshot of the game, and the image was of the login screen. It was maybe 2 mins later after logging in. (Just checked there is a screenshot delay of about 3secs) 3) It looks better to me. :D (more detail and vivid colours) 4) Initial load time is slightly longer to load textures of items. Thoroughly Impressed! |

Really great patch.
Setup: Ryzen 3 3600 with a AMD RX5700XT, 32GB RAM, separate SSD Settings: evrything max except Shadows/GI (which explode the load on the Graphics card) FPS DX11: ~90 FPS Vulkan: ~140 (idle in hideout) Last edited by Mirathas on May 28, 2020, 12:37:55 PM

Nice addition, shame i'm stuck with the spaghetti code dx11 since gpu doesn't support vulkan... Thanks for thinking about older spec players too, OH WAIT

I had stopped playing delirium league because I used to die so much in maps due to the FPS studders during delirium encounters. Was looking at steam today and saw they added vulkan renderer. Figured I'd give it a try. And I'm glad I did. The FPS stuttering is completely gone. Game is running like butter. Thank you!

You can also, you know, let us set graphics to Low instead of Medium being the lowest setting, just saying.

Awesome addition the Vulkan API is great!

Changing to Vulkan from the login screen just closes the game.
