Unless I am mistaken (which I could be), when it says "Hit" it refers to a melee skill, not a spell. I read a reddit post (probably my first mistake) that said on hit referred to Melee only. If it is on Spell Hit, I am going to have to ditch the gloves.

I've played plenty of casters that rely on Curse on Hit... it's definitely not melee only.

This is why I was bugging you about curse linit/priority yesterday... Conductivity only applies to a single hit of Storm Brand after each time Cyclone casts it on an area, then curse priority sets you back to Temporal Chains because nothing can override gloves besides glove corruptions and boots.

... and why I'm running WoC with Asenath's :P

I've used conductivity on hit on rings with stormbrand builds that don't do any sort of attack, and the brands do trigger the curse.

Very Very cool. I would definitely say this is a great high-budget option, but that 20ex unnatural instincts puts it out of reach for a lot of people. I'm wondering what is the best option for somebody without that jewel. I found that it's harder to keep res. capped when using the thread of hope. The wise oak will certainly keep them capped, but I like to have them capped without relying on that as it's not up when you're not in the midst of killing stuff. Using thread of hope also takes away a slot for a fevered mind which hurts dps if you have less than 3 clusters. I wonder if a 3 cluster option is possible without the unnatural instincts while keeping over 3k life. Of course dual cluster is still more than enough, we're already in the realm of additional dps being mostly bragging rights except for when fighting the games hardest bosses.

I'm wondering what the best we can do is without that jewel, maybe without going over lvl 95 (end of league), and keeping it over 3k life with 50% dmg going to mana (requiring watchers eye).

Now I have to decide if I should weaken my other char. to buy that jewel heh, or maybe it's time to farm harder.

Yeah you'd want to go Whispers of Doom (either 4 points or Annointing) or it looks like +1 Curse Foibles are 1ex

As someone still using the original iteration of the build, is Fortify really that expendable? I feel like it's consistently up against pretty much any difficult endgame boss (Awakener, Uber Elder, Cortex, Delirium bosses, Delve bosses, even Guardians), and losing it plus 10-15% life for the new setup makes me nervous. I get that it's like 60% more damage, but most of those bosses have phases, anyway, so at some point it doesn't matter if your damage is just insane versus ultra-insane, right?

Then again, it's probably worth it just to be able to stop trying to craft that fucking Corrosive Elements + Scintillating Idea jewel. I have never wasted so much currency trying to craft something.

Animated Guardian can give Fortify, don't craft the jewel, just buy it. You can also use Wave of Conviction instead of corrosive.

This is fun, thanks.

I league started with Heiro ES version, (I actually had the most ES of any character for the first few weeks of the league) and much prefer this.

Greater Spell Echo is nice QOL.

I've only died once in a Wave 20 simulacrum, and it sucks trying to get back in the middle of a wave if that happens. Otherwise pretty smooth sailing.

Moved Cyclone to 4 Link.
1 slot open for what I am not sure.


I have some more tweaking to do, I Think I want a different Cerulian Ring and Avyss Jewel. The gloves could use some improvement also.
