[3.13] Storm Brand Necro. Retired no longer. All content viable and Whiskey Proof™
" I plan on making multiple variants. For instance, I am going to ditch Militant Faith and put my Wachers eye back in and just use Vaal RF. This will tweak my build to be more ES heavy build hybrid build. I am also eyeballing CI as a possibility. But I would like them all in one place. If I do make my own thread, I will link to this one and give credit where it is due. That is only if I decide to do make my own thread. I am getting kind of burnt out. " You cannot put "2" under # of brands attached to the enemy because you didn't take Runebinder passive. The dps shown in your PoB is a bit lower with this correction. If you are really interested in dps, just wear essence worm and use wrath. It has comparable dps with all your cluster jewels (cost ~ 3c, if you ask nicely in global, someone may give you one for free). You can also take Spiritual Aid node for a bit more dps because our ascendancy adds quite a bit of minion dps. Here is the PoB that I used to run: https://pastebin.com/tdZZ9JiM If you want a bit more chaos resist, just run purity of elements with purity+clarity eye. Here is the PoB that I am currently using: https://pastebin.com/GcKTByBM A jewel with +2 per 10 devotion also adds +12% all resist for easier gearing. Personally, I like the one with a bit more chaos resist. Here are some useful militant faith mods: 3% increased Effect of non-Damaging Ailments on Enemies (shock/chill) 4% increased Area Damage 1% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras (if using essence worm) 4% increased Damage with Brand Skills 4% increased Elemental Damage +2% to all Elemental Resistances DO NOT use one with "1% reduced Mana Cost of Skills." It would lower your dps. (OP took few passive nodes with reduced mana cost but that reduction nodes come with % increased mana, so the overall dps still increases) Thanks OP for this wonderful build. Really appreciated. Last edited by xenodc on May 23, 2020, 12:29:58 AM

Nice guide! One question, why is elemental equilibrium working? Are Brands like Totems and don't count as our damage source? But we die to reflect so it have to be our damage? A bit confused about that.
Or is it just used to convert it by the Militant Faith Timeless Jewel? Last edited by Lefaidos on May 23, 2020, 8:23:36 AM

can i replace that neck to resistance neck ? or this build need that maximum mana ?
| |
" Correct that is actually agnostic. EE would not work with this build at all
" You can replace the amulet but will have to rebalance stats as it gives a massive 'bump' due to -25% requirement. Will lose a poop load of mana as well.
" I have wave of conviction in to simulate the exposure caused by corrosive elements. POB still doesnt understand that notable.
Hey I'm messing around with storm brand archmage builds trying to find something I like and this looks really interesting. One concern I have is move/clear speed in general. In the video I didn't see much gameplay in big maps and I'm curious if you're able to "zoom" between packs. I saw that your movement skill has a cooldown, and in the simu and delve parts you're not moving too quickly because the packs are so dense you're just cycloning the whole way. POB also says you only have 17% movement speed.
Can you say, clear juiced T14 burials and get to the boss before delirium ends somewhat consistently? What about long narrow maps with some empty-ish hallways between packs such as tower/lair/malformation for splinter farming? Everything else about the build looks awesome. If your version of the build as is doesn't have this kind of clearspeed whem you have to cover long distances, are there any modifications you can think of to help with this that don't sacrifie too much dps or survivability? Thanks! Really cool unique looking build.
this is quite possibly the funniest build i played in a long time, thanks a lot for the guide OP, love it!
