What u guys think is stronger,

Hi guys.
I am gonna buy a cluster jewel with this build. A cluster jewel that is in this build from the updated POB link is near impossible to get because of 2 sockets at this moment. Anyone have a good replacement that I can use. I have 6 exalts to use (hope I do not have to use it all). And one more thing. Can someone check my character? I have pretty good AOE damage and I clear everything in T6-T8 without any problems, but on bosses, I struggle. I can barely take out any guardians(redeemer, hunter etc). PS: I do not have the best gear, I know, but trash dmg is awesome, but boss damage S**KS ass to be honest :) | |

I wonder what to upgrade. Currently sitting on about 5ex. I pob'd the mana reserve + buff effect circles, but for 4ex it's only like +7k average hit.

" From my understanding Detonate Dead frontloads all of its damage on cast whereas Volatile Dead has its mini explosion that doesn't scale and the heat seeking ball does the big portion of the damage which lags a little. If you're zipping around like a maniac in a map you might want Detonate Dead in your links to pop the majority of mobs in a pack instantaneously, then the heat seeking VD balls will get anything that's left. I'm not sure what the radius on the VD ball explosion is compared to DD's detonation so maybe that's a factor. With regular spell cascade you can see the value of DD for single target because VD can only eat 9 corpses and desecrate gives 12 corpses to work with. DD can eat the other 3 to make up for the damage lost. However, you have to pay with a higher mana reservation cost than using VD alone so it's not cut and dried better. With awakened spell cascade your VD eats up to 15 corpses so you're always eating all your corpses on single target. In that case you should make a judgment call on how it feels mapping and bossing. The ultimate version of the build might skip DD and use the mana reservation cost savings to switch to a beefy shield with ES on block and stick with the 30% CDR enchant. |
