Spectres tend to die without minion nodes and i dont have a free gem slot i would need to switch out Righteous Fire which is a dps loss.

On top comes that spectres only push low initial hit builds to higher dps. In my opinion the damage increase is miniscule when you are hitting for 10+million per corpse explosion from the spell damage part.

The last point is that the DPS in the current form is already beastly to tear any boss down in a second.

can anyone who is familiar with this build take a look at my PoB and give some damage pointers? It seems that red map bosses are giving me problems. I know my res aren't capped, but thats not an issue, im mainly lacking dps

Do we already know whether the build (in standard) is gonna survive the comming update?
I assume the DPS is gonna suffer since they wanna nerf dmg-boosting support-gems by quite a lot...
But other than that, what are your opinions?
Or ist it yet too early to tell?

It depends how the mana cost and reservation will turn out for spellslinger.

Could be overkill rip build or could be fine need to wait for patch notes.

Spellslinger is dead and buried now. There is no point in using it.

Maybe it will come back in the future. But now is buried deep.

Build will still be fine. Will just take some more thought into fine tuning it, but in no way is it dead.

You'll use about 190 Mana with each attack and subsequent SS cast. Good luck making up that kind of mana usage.
