How important is it to have evened resistances for Wise Oak?

Or is our main focus the penetration for fire?

main focus is fire penetration, but balanced wise oak is 10% damage reduction for each element. so it's a major defense layer.

If we are using crown of the inward eye, should we be using VD and DD in our 6 link shavs? I've seen players on poe.ninja using only VD with inward eye and some using both VD and DD. Thoughts?

VD/DD in 6-link if you are using Crown. VD/DD in helmet if you're using rare helmet with conc and hypo + other stuff.

Is it possible that my POB is not reflecting my DPS well? or something is not well active?

Compared to the pastebin of zzang the numbers are LOW. And my items are not SO bad. In fact, I already have an investment of more than 150ex if I remember correctly.

For example, in zzang's POB removing a jewel from the Tree lowers the combined dps by almost 400k or more.

If I remove a jewel, it lowers me just 0.100k dps.

And it is a jewel with critical strike multiplier for spell, with fire and elemental skills.

Of course the zzang items are already 100% OP.

Can someone look at my profile and help me understand?

Anyway, T16 for example with 4 sextants, some harbingers, gaps, legion, etc. It's a ride. Everything disappears completely including the bosses.

I'm struggling to get anywhere close to 9k ES with this build, is anyone able to give me some tips on how to reach 9k or is 8.3k enough?

I'm thinking I'll have to give up movespeed on boots and/or +1 aoe on crafted helm, but I don't even think that will be enough. Is 9k only possible on standard with these gears?

You have some nice gear.
Don't consider dropping the +1 on the helm. it's too good to lose.

Only real place I can see you missing some important rolls is the belt.

I have 10,007 ES.
not much different gear in ES rolls compared to you.
But my belt has
18% increased max ES
36% increased maximum ES from body armour.

For a suitable defense measure, consider trying to balance your resistances, for the wise oak effect.

After about a week of preparing I finished crafting my boots, belt and gloves (cba getting t1 %ES on gloves instead of t2) in league!


Finally was able to get all the gear, balance my resists and play. My helm is juat a placeholder for now tho. The damage is crazy, but I'm still struggling with ES aswell :/ Dunno how to proceed. May be drop some nodes for another medium cluster (I'm level 95 still)
