how to increase the chance of ignite?

Question on Oro's versus Terminus Est for 3.12.

I am torn between this and the Terminus Est (transitioning to non-terminus 10% frenzy on hit mod) build I am running. I can't decide which is going to be better overall. So far I have matched the skill trees and only taken shared nodes but I just hit level 65 so I could reasonably make the switch.

Any particular reason for this over phys? All thoughts appreciated.
I only did this because the season is way different.

It was a lot easier to get particular items last season due to harvest crafting.

Impresence is expensive early in the season and a big boost to using Oro is having flammability paired with it.

Without harvest it is going to be harder to get ALL the preferred mods on your gear such as Strike Skills on Gloves, Recovery of health with Crit on chest, Vermillion rings with desirable stats will be more expensive, tailwind on boots, and -9% Fire res on helm.

This caveat will still be the same if you go physical, but there are other areas where you can spend your currency that you can use for both builds so you can switch as you desire.

Cluster Jewels have been changed again and I'm not entirely sure what we can even get. I haven't seen a single Feed The Fury, Fuel the Fight, Surefoot Striker cluster yet and I'm sure when one finally appears it will be multiple exalts.

I think this season is going to have a slower pace for most players and a lot of items are going to be gated behind those who know how to legacy craft and get lucky slams. Top tier gear is going to be more expensive.

If you go physical and use Terminus you can grab the impale nodes and juice a lot of damage into the build without needing to spend any money.

I spent the majority of my chaos on Inspired Learning, Awakened Melee Splash, and maxing out my resistances as best as possible. I also picked up an Enlighten so I could run Pride, War Banner, and Blood & Sand.

Not sure how much more I will get to play this season, but it feels comfortable enough to push past T10 maps while still using a Tabby.

You're going to die a lot, but that's an unfortunate downside to the build if you're not that good at staying out of degen effects before you can min-max all your gear to perfection.

Overall, both builds will work. Oro's is a 100% solution all the way through end game. You will not get rid of it.

If you go physical, you'll eventually need to replace Terminus with a high phys damage rare and if you can manage it frenzy charge on hit on chest. The frenzy charge on chest isn't 100% necessary, but it will negate staggering between flickers on bosses.

Thanks for the thorough response! The main thing that caused me to keep Oro's in mind was the ability to scale into end game without going for the rare phys sword or having to buy a multi exalt chest.

That being said, I planned on using this as a currency farmer, and finally allowing myself to play one super god tier build to do all of the end game content. I usually stop at red elder, and make several fun meme builds and call it a league. Since I am playing more casually, I figure I can just farm in my down time lazily, and then go hard on certain bosses.

I saw those impale nodes, but I haven't really played since I think Abyss (I logged in to the one where you trap beasts, and delve, but quickly quit them for other games). A lot to learn now, but two builds should keep the curve pretty steep (hopefully).

I think I will juice all of the free phys, especially since I have a ~390 pDPS 6-link Terminus Est currently. Will likely hold me over for a while. Thanks again!
No idea how to do it myself, but would it be cheaper to craft the Elder chest you linked (1 resist, double life prefix+crit and recover life) than to wait for someone to put one up?

To be honest, the rolls on the 20ex budget look insane and like they'd individually run way more than that.

EDIT: Hell, even the corrupted Oro's runs almost 10ex in currencies alone.

Hey, I was wondering if its worth to get Silent Steps node for 15% chance to blind with attacks and some evasion? Are the 3 passives worth taking?

Hey, you get fortify first by including it in the 6L on your Oro's weapon.
"Main link:
Flicker Strike - Melee Splash - Multistrike - Elemental Damage with attacks -
Close Combat - Combustion (or Fortify before your corrupted Oro's)"

Later on, when you have more currency, you can try and buy an Oro's which has been corrupted with the corruption 'Socketed gems are supported by level 10 fortify'. Then you can replace the fortify support gem with combustion.
