New league announced! Stone Golems look really strong against the 3.11 league mechanic. I won't be playing them next league, but I'll be sure to keep the guide updated as best I can.

If any of you do plan to play this next league please let me know! I'll take your build changes into account when editing the guide. I'll still have my character on standard, so don't worry about needing to redo the whole build.

I'm pretty sure I'll be playing this build again in 3.11. I just loved how tanky the build was while not being a total slouch on dps or clear speed. It would be great to see any updates to the build. My main issue right now is whether or not to play it as a league starter or as a second character...league starting with a build that needs a lot of uniques always seems risky (and possibly expensive!).

Out of curiosity, do you know what build you'll be playing? Or you just know that it won't be this one? :)

Thanks again!

Yes, earthquake with the new war cry simply because I like the visual update :)
Thank you Mr. Skyscan!

your build guide inspired me to play golems xD

I followed your guide until I wanted to spent more!

Thats why I switched to this:

If Golems + Minion Cluster Jewells don't get nerfed, I'll play ur build again next league.

cheers
I've tried levelling to see if this build could work as a starter. Haven't reached maps yet, but so far it's looking pretty solid. Skeletons as main skill with Carrion Golems for support. Everything is getting destroyed. Grabbing life and minion nodes. The idea is to switch minion nodes to appropriate jewels once I have the currency.

Do you have any PoB's or tips for the way you leveled? I was thinking about trying this build out as a league starter as well and would love all the help I can get!

I might give this a go:

https://youtu.be/MP-nshgjZfo and than switch to this once we get the jewels.

Ive tried leveling a few witches through to A2 to get a feel for dps etc.

Still havent really found anything i like in regards to clear speed.

FP is meh, SRS is meh. Might have to try a SRS/Mine skill till zombies and skeletons get more dps.

Rushing sacrifice before killing merv helps a lot with zombie survivability and dps. I guess if you aint in any rush any of the above works.

Holy Flame Totem and phantasms also work well.

Will try SRS and stormblast/blastchain mines out.

- Can try the double +1 amulet instead of Primordial Chain, it will give a TON more damage, but it has some negatives aspects. I made a post here https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2826004/page/65#p23202658 about it.

This is interesting.

Why are you using Spider over Avian?

Why Mace over a Bow with Attack Damage?

I tried a few variants of the +2 Amulet version but my Spectres/Animate Guardians keep dying.

The chain version seems to work pretty well for me.

Is this build is ok for league starter ?

asking for some help with crafting a vermillion ring. have had no luck finding a decent one and anything for sale is out of my current price range

looking for chaos resistance and plus life. figure the two best fossils to start with are aberrant and pristine. using one of the crafting tools, that should give me very good odds to get + life as a prefix and decent odds of chaos resist as a suffix. will use a level 81+ base to have a shot at the highest levels of chaos resist.

trying to reduce the number of possible suffixes, as the crafting tool shows up to 20 possibilities but none of the other fossils really help reduce that number in a useful way. because I have an excess of cold resist on other gear, scorching is one possibility to remove cold resist from the list. also thought of using prismatic. it won't remove any options from the suffix list but it at least ups the odds of getting something useful to go along with chaos resist, if I get it.

any suggestions would be appreciated, and I am not locked into going the fossil crafting route if there are other options that have better chances of getting a good ring
