- You have checked Frenzy Charges and Power Charges for your minions and you took Necro Aegis... but your victario shield generate charges for your allies but if your golems use that shield because of Necro Aegis, their ally is you... So no charges for them, and a big chunk of the damage is gone... and we're down to ~6.6m dps.
But each golem is ally to everyone else, so it works.
So, after literally hours of trying to figure out why I couldn't get vaal molten shell to 100% uptime, I finally found a post on the forum that explained my problem.
PSA: (Short version) Don't start with a quality VMS. Or use increased duration, except in very specific circumstances.
(Long version) The problem is, anything that increases the duration on VMS (quality, increased duration gem, etc) also increases the soul prevention duration. Makes sense, sure. HOWEVER. The Soul Catcher flask only reduces the portion of soul gain prevention on the base gem - it has no effect on the added SGP put there by other factors.
On the positive side, I traded my 20/20 VMS for a 20/0 and took home an extra 80 chaos.

Pretty much has all the affixes I want, just not decent numbers yet. A bunch of add / remove life / defenses (Hope to get the %armour increase from the influence tag) / chaos resist / elemental resist.

Your math is correct. They should be slamming.
Unless your Glorious Vanity modded one of the minor nodes to minion speed?

Probably doesn't come as a surprise, but Bottled Faith boosts this build a lot. Especially Carrion Golen + Spectre variant. I haven't lost a single Zombie for ages because of this. Whether it's the life regen or critical strike chance (better leech), this bottle keeps my minions alive. And of course damage is through the roof. A8 Sirus became even easier and after the fight I still had one use of the flask left. No meteor phase at all.
Price is a bit steep compared to the rest of the gear - 8 ex.

i went a bit diffrent path and followed a guide that apeared last league. It is focusing on stone golems too but uses Leap Slam for fast moving in maps and to aply fortify which is a great dmg reduction. Sadly the guide isnt active anymore. I am pretty happy with the result but i would be happy if one of the golem pros here could take a look into my pastebin. Maybe i can do even better.
I am @ 13.000.000 slam dps per Golem.

There are several things that don't really work I think.
- You've checked ignite and shock but the only thing that can possibly ignite and shock to proc your Cinderswallow is the elementalist conflux. But, that conflux isn't really reliable in general cause it's alternating all the time and you can't always hit stuff with your attacks. So the up time of that is pretty low, and the avg damage potential isn't really high. The shock part would work better with Skitterbots and the ignite part would work better with Raze and Pillage.

- Then without those charges, the attack rate is way slower, then the cooldown, so you're loosing some nice potential damage there
So if you want that 13m dps to be real, use a shield with +2 Minimum Power Charges and +2 minimum Frenzy charges with Necro Aegis. Because, right now, in theory the build is doing 13m dps, but in reality it's clearly not. At best it's doing ~6.6m, which is btw pretty damn cool for a Primordial Chain version :) Or use spectres.
And for the ignite/shock part, like i said, Skitterbots for shock and Raze and Pillage for ignite are usable compare to the Conflux of elementalist. But, it's not that much more damage (4-5%) and you already have a ton of damage so, not really worth it I think.
Otherwise very nice build! Better then what I did last league with Stone Golems was 5.2m dps with similar defenses :)
First of all, ty for the time you invested in checking my build.
The shield is working good since every golem is producing the charges for all the other golems.
about the shock and the ignite,when i am mapping the conflux is indeed the only source for ignite and shock. When i do a boss the stormbrand is shocking too. But even if i turn ignite and shock off, i am at 11.500.000 dps per golem x 7.
Still looking for ways to improve though.

Wait so is it not possible to have molten shell up 100% of the time?

If you don't use skitterbots or shock the Vessel of Vinktar is also great. You have more than 100% chance to avoid shock so its basically a free 5 second 10% dps boost with no side effects.
