It's been a while.

What do witches use to level up these days?
What are your first thoughts?

Only lvl 16, but... I don't quite like the skill, at least for now

I just arrived act3, so far my issue is not enough DPS. I did not like the original pathing as well, feeling that it was missing the mobs a lot... Much better with Volley or LMP.
Atm i just use Herald of Thunder and dropped the Herald of Ice for now. For some dmg i just linked Spellslinger with Arc and Ball Lightning. The dmg is doing fine for now. The Kinetic Bolt seems pretty weak atm, but i think there is potential later on. I think i will keep the Spellslinger with Arc or Ball Lightning for some more levels or even till mapping/yellow maps. But that´s just my opinion or atleast my solution for the lack of damage at my current level
This seems fine im currently 20 but feel like dmg is quite low.. Arc Witch I feel would do more dmg.
So far it feels pretty weak. Better to level with something else.
So having played this through the first 5 acts, here are my thoughts:

1) Get dual wands as quickly as you can, looking for flat phys/lightning, phys%/spell damage% on them. This will otherwise feel fairly clunky well into Act 2 -- packs will be nice, but bosses (Delirium especially!) will feel painful as hell. Links at this point are Kinetic Bolt > Added Lightning Damage (when available)

2) Once you finish Chamber of Sins, get all three heralds and use 'em. Yes, it uses most of your mana -- you'll be fine, by and large. This is your first major QoL upgrade on the skill. Packs will just melt, and most bosses will go down fairly easy. You'll still struggle with some Delirium rares and such. You have choices on sockets. I did Kinetic Bolt > Added Lightning through Act 2, but I'd suggest adding WED (i.e. Elemental Damage with Attacks). You'll have to either wait until A3 to get this from Library, or get a friend to get it for you.

3) Once you finish A4, go buy Barrage Support. Make it your 4th link. From here, QoL is on full alert, and this skill feels completely AWESOME in A5. Your tooltip will dip (mine went from about 8-9k with 3 golems in A4 to just under 2k in A5 -- didn't matter, everything melted).

You can absolutely level with anything else -- you'll just be looking at different mods on wands up to A5, which could affect things -- personally, my biggest mistake was trying to run wand/shield through the first half of Act 2. Once I swapped to dual wield, this was a lot better. Also: Don't do what I did and go Lightning Warp. It's still clunky as hell, even with Faster Casting. I may stick with it and see how it is at higher levels, but right now I'd rather have Flame Dash.

I can't use Ice, let alone Ash, so that's a no-go for the foreseeable future. Hell, I can't even find a decent 3L to add anything to my KB - Volley setup, but right now, any enemy big enough to get hit twice or thrice get melted. Other than that, thank god for the mana regen that I cannot run out of mana just holding down the fire button.
should I help alira or kill all?? with resist gears and all, 2+ passive would be a better option maybe?
