No idea really whats going on with you not being able to animate dropped weapons. You do target near the very small red items, right? Not other dropped items that aren't identified?

And you can animate ranged weapons with this:

Have been thinking about trying it out too, to help with clear speed. But the ranged AWs would only be a 4-link because Melee Splash and Multistrike don't work for ranged.

Gonna give it a try soon though.

I was having troubles in the beginning until I realized it was blade fall that was causing issues.

I think when you Bladefall AND you have weapons that have dropped from bad guys, when you go to animate them, it appears to favor the Lingering Blades even if your mouse is close to the weapon the bad guy dropped.

Try only Bladefalling at the beginning of an area and then refrain from Blade falling until you see weapons drop. You should be able to pick them up really easily even if your mouse is not close.

When watching last night, Ghazzy had a completely different AW set up for ranged weapons (he used his helmet if memory serves). I did not see the support gems but he said it was done to have synergy with ranged weapons which he could not get in his normal AW set up.

Yes, Ghazzy's build is different from this one. I haven't watched him stream but it's a different setup.

Right, I guess you would want GMP to support the ranged ones. Mhh, wonder if it is worth it. I would also need to change up my tree quite a bit and maybe even get rid of Rotten Claws because I would path very differently.

ya 3.8k life i die sometimes but in delirum you just gotta keep moving and avoid certain pods on the ground but then again i havnt been doing crazy modded maps yet
ya im looking into maybe skin of loyal like yours and i need to upgrade all my jeewelery as well and yes i have featering fiend on the jewel and thanks for the dex tip :) gotta work on that wand now too

Nah, he is using charge generating Spectres. Would be pretty bad to use DPS spectres with an unlinked Spectre gem.

The ranged stuff are the ranged AWs, socketed in his boots.

Looks to be pretty worth it to be honest.
