For the record, Tuesday evening, OP believed that the Cold Build would be "high end only, fire build will be better untel then" ( despite the multiple demonstrations of the opposite I made), and yesterday, he made a post about how inferior physical version would be.
So much for the "he considered them a while back"
Have a link to his post from yesterday? Or the page number. Because I would be interested to see how he gets to the opposite conclusion of what are the facts.
Also, please keep telling people in your thread that CoC version has more damage than phys Impale :D Every fool believing that helps a little bit in keeping the price of CIP a little lower.

Well, you probably saw that already, but CoC can reach 20M dps for a low budget (Just getting a real +1 6L for AW will be more expensive than everything in the pob combined):

And then, you can check around the PoB of AW everywhere on the thread, and see that for dozens exalts, you don't reach that :D
CoC is cheaper, and definitely an option for the start, but it is very limited in its potential. For example with only 2 CIPs and a Tabula I expect to be at around 20-22m Shaper DPS and I would be HUGELY surprised if I don't reach 30m+ Shaper DPS with only a small handful of exalts invested in my normal Phys Impale AW.
Not sure what you think is 100% vital to get that amount of damage that will cost "dozens of exalts".
But yea, until I get 2 CIPs the CoC version will be better. But I doubt CoC will be much cheaper than CIPs in the first few days.
Not sure about the limited potential when you are using Voidforge and multiply by 4 the added physical damage from jewels.
As I said, I have already 20M dps without rings, without awakened supports, without Belt, and with 5c jewels. You think you can hit 30m for an handful of exalt? You dont know that, especially with the unknown price of CIP (It will not be 3c, btw). You dont know the availability of rotten claws. I do know how much I can do already, without supposition, and I know I can scale much harder than that. You are also losing tons of utility from the lack of triggering wand, and tons of tankiness from the lack of shield. Pure dps is not everything. And even in the case you do beat CoC in super high end gear (Where the practical difference between 30m and 35m is not really important), you still have to summon every single AW one by one at the start of each map, resummon them mid map, gemme swaps for bosses, etc etc
But it's fine :D

Page 16. It was actually two days ago, after the patch note, my bad.
Ps: I dont care that much about if AW will be better or if COC will be better dps wise. Past 30M dps, it's not the point, and the QoL around are much more important. For these reasons, no trigger wand, gem swaps and awful summoning mecanics are a big No-no. The better dps/scaling is just the cherry on the top.

Dont you think taking a sentence out of context (It was an answer to a question about if CIP would be good for AW, in a CoC guide), to blame someone answering a direct question about a comparaison between COC and AW in this topic doesnt make you a hypocrite as well, or can we stop calling people names ?
I dont think I need your autorisation for anything, and it's not like I blatantly advertized my guide (you are the only one mentionning it, twice) or something.
I believe I gave MASSIVE inputs to AW in this topic (just read the first pages, I mentionned extremely early cold build, physical build, block defense). It' not like i'm an asshole hijacking the thread for self promotion.
