Not anymore. They changed the tags at the beginning of heist I believe. It's easier to craft +1s though - just spam caster (or any other reforge) seeds on convoking wands.

Oh, the fossil method in the guide isn't a good way anymore?

...I did it and still lucked into a 1/1

Just to say, I'm finding Avatar of Fire + Frost Bomb makes bossing much much smoother with the 75% reduction to Maven's heal.

I'm really glad I've switched to it from Brand.

Yep - All three elements at random at mage spawn, but since we need EE, we scale only two elements.

The fossil way is the only way that works for +1/1 semi-reliably now. I also got lucky with one this league after failing all attempts last league.

Yeah, with maven's heal and the buff to frost bomb's area of effect, it's probably coming back onto the menu as the main recommendation. It was always better than the brand for DPS purposes even when I switched away from it between 3.9 and 3.10, but the brand just felt easier to play.

Wonder if going ci or ll is viable with this build. Anyone tried? I know the whole tree would change. Also just seen you saying frostbomb / avatar of fire may be better now then brand? Did anyone plug it in pob?
