iLL3aT i advice u to use Skitterbots+Bonechill it will buff not just lightning skeles as wraith does and u can run 1 more aura like vitality or precision


now i think about low budget clusters, crit verision is too expensive for me for now

Yeah I have skitterbots in the easier mages PoB since it’s very similar to the warrior archer version. The one I’m running now is more experimental and I’m seeing if I can push it’s damage higher than the base version. This is partly why its taking me so long to release a mage PoB.

Ignore crit. Too expensive right now and you need two-three clusters to make it work after all the nerfs.

What clusters have you set up or are you planning? Is there somewhere an opportunity to see how the nodes will be located if I take a temporary reneval and fisting fiends?



Speaking of POB, there seems to be a bug in the calculation of the critical chance, the actual one is only in the fire. The skeletons of Cold and lightning have a 0% crit chance. In addition, the randomness of their appearance does not allow you to determine exactly how the elemental equilibrium will boost you. It is a pity there is no way to find a shield that would translate all the elemental damage into one type or chaos.

Probably just the same as the one cluster setup in the PoB. The other medium (used to be the aura one) cluster is still in progress - I'll add that one later once I play around in PoB some more.

Whats the priority on wand mods to look for ? Is it minion dmg > +1 minion skills > attack speed ? ( asuming +1 +1 is uber end game )

With how good the temple mod is (5% minion double damage, 50-66% minion damage), you're better off with one of these unless you can get +1 with a decent minion damage roll (40+) or minion attack speed(20+). The +1 offers some utility of minion life and 10% damage, but even then the temple mod probably adds more damage and costs about 10c.

Ultra end game is +1/+1 with a pile of minion stats yeah.

Skeleton Mage 1.0 added into 14(1). It's largely similar to the base build

I have a different approach to mages in mind as well, but that'll come later when I have more time.

So you're assuming that the damage of mages is 33% lower compared to normal skeletons?

I sometimes switch to one or the other, check the damage on rituals, bosses, or guards. In fact, I see that the damage is about the same or even higher sometimes for mages. But I don't have the triad grip gloves.

Would wands with +1, minion attack speed (at least 15 minion attack speed), and crafted minion damage be better than temple wands? Currently sitting on five exalts but not in a hurry to upgrade where I'm at right now.
As I understand - Primal Crushclaw is a main spectre for this build.

I found as well thank ape's with charges is incredible squishy on white maps.

Also, sorry for my english, but what is result of skeleton mages? Are they better in high-end content than warriors? Or they only good at mapping and doesn't worth it on bosses(Uelder, A8 sirus etc.)
