Ancestral Warchief Chieftain is one of the classic Path of Exile builds. It always was a strong league starter, but how is it for all current end-game? With so much powercreep and so many builds around.. it’s really hard to tell, isn’t it? And it’s a totem build as well, and not everyone likes totems.
What i did once again is a complete overhaul of a classic build. I fine-tuned it to the maximum potential and what came out is a total surprise. All Conquerors die in a couple of seconds with Shaper not able to shoot a single ball! It is SO STRONG. You will be surprised, trust me. I was surprised a lot. Warchief Totems use your weapon (and attack) damage as a base, so by scaling it you can achieve really high DPS. With Hunter, Elder and Warlord mods it is possible to stack a lot of strength and get all accuracy as well, so, using Brutus Lead Sprinkler is one the cheapest, easiest ways to scale damage to decent levels. https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Brutus%27_Lead_Sprinkler As a result we will be summoning 3 Ancestral Warchiefs (for damage) and 2 Ancestral Protectors (for attack speed which transforms into MORE damage). With Chieftain ascendancy your totems will leech 1% of damage dealt back to you as health, so all you need to do is run around and wait till things die. I levelled with Molten Strike + Ancestral Call till i reached Ancestral Bond and could use Brutus Lead Sprinkler at level 28. Before you get Xoph’s Blood you can also use physical support gems like Melee.Phys and Added Fire. At level 61 you can finally equip Tukohama’s Fortress and use Anger as primary Auraю I saved all my levelling gear here, to give you an idea on what can be useful. Trolltimber Spire can make you really tanky early on, while Lycosidae gives 100% hit chance, dramatically increasing the damage during levelling. ====================================================================================== 5) My Actual Gear / End-Game Skills

Ancestral Warchief 5L: Vaal.Ancestral.Warchief-Concentrated.Effect-Ruthless-Awakened.Elemental.Damage.with.Attacks-Awakened.Elemental.Focus Ancestral Warchief 6L: Vaal.Ancestral.Warchief-Concentrated.Effect-Ruthless-Awakened.Elemental.Damage.with.Attacks-Awakened.Elemental.Focus-Pulverise JEWELS: Watcher’s Eye with 2x Anger, 1 good Brawn, 1 Might of the Meek with Corrupted Blood cannot be Inflicted on you, 1x Transcendent Flesh, 1x Lethal Pride in the duelist area. Generic jewels: life, fire damage to attacks / maces / crit multi Tukohama's Fortess is a BiS shield for this build, before you get a decent +1 Totem Shaper build. Lion’s Roar can be used for starters, before you get Xoph’s Blood and convert to full fire (you will deal no physical damage afterwards) Soul Ripper was insanely cheap in Metamorph, so i used it instead of Diamond flask for general mapping and Blighted Maps. You surely can, but at the “cost” of losing somewhere else. I don’t think it’s needed, as crit in general will give you more. 2) What not just stick with Tukohama’s Fortress?

It’s an easy and cheap choice. But you can only use one aura with it, so there will be many problems like.. Lacking the accuracy and resists for example. 3) How do i get this fancy helm?

with how cheap BLS is and how easy it is to get up and running, def a league start contender with the facebreakers version now to see if they nerf strength stacking in 3.10 | |
