[3.17] Wallach's Hierophant Freezing Pulse Totems (No Further Updates)

I'm having a hard time following what the current best curse setup is. I have my setup like the OP with Frost Bomb totems, self cast sniper's mark/frostbite but it seems like a lot of people transitioned over to a hextouch/hydrosphere/frostbite setup w/ no Frost Bomb totems. I can't afford an awakened hextouch yet for double curse so what should I do? Current hideout dps is 110k and my next purchase was going to be a 6L soul mantle so I can stop single casting all my FP totems.

Could someone take a look at my gem setup and give me some advice? I already know I need phasing so I'm going to throw a phase run in there somewhere. Also ignore the freezing pulse in my boots and the vaal righteous fire in my body. Those were just in there to level the gems.

You don't need double or triple curses yet - 6 link is going to be a big boost and good place to start.

Divergent Dash instead of phase run & instead of flame dash is fine too.

Right, I know I'm not up to double curses yet but is it worth it to switch over to a Hydrosphere/Frostbite setup over a Frostbite/Frost Bomb Totem setup? Seems like you lose a small amount of lower cold resist and the reduced regen debuff (unless those effects stack w/ 2x totem -- do they?) in exchange for not having to deal with the mess of spamming 4x FP Totem and a FB totem and freeing up a 4-link gem slot.

Also Divergent Dash is still 2ex right now so I'll probably just run Flame Dash and Phase run since it's cheaper until later.

Just checking but are you using the 1 green craft? It is of course much cheaper, and seems to work pretty well, although obviously your luck will vary :)
I used it successfully twice now. I have one 6 socket Soul Mantle with the correct colors but its not linked you could have, if you want to try your luck linking it instead of getting the right colors on an already linked one.

Yep, I used that same recipe as many here have suggested, but it's just bad luck on my part. Thanks for the offer regarding the 6 socket with the right colors. I actually have one of those already and throw some fusings on from time to time....

The 6 link with increased critical strike chance instead of hypothermia seems to be working fine. It was a nice boost to my dps as well..........

Divergent Dash is 30EX in standard if that makes you feel better

Ideally you want arcane surge to be up nearly all the time....do you cast frostshield that often ???

still wonder about divergent dash, is it that nice QOL?

got one in stash lying around, worth 30c ... did not sell it so far as i remember many use it ...
