[3.17] Wallach's Hierophant Freezing Pulse Totems (No Further Updates)

Just saw a wand with 'Hatred has 40% more effect' - I don't think it can be elevated (?) but either way perhaps it's a different way to try to craft a wand without relying on +gems.

Can someone maybe guide me into a direction to raise the DPS?
For life I already have a Vermillion Ring at hand, where I just need some aug life on it. That'll change

But I feel like my damage is much lower than it could be. Would be awesome to get some help. Currently got ~5 EX at hand to waste on the build.

Apart from everything being 21/23 of course.

21/23 on fp is a big deal, quality on other DPS gems helps too. Extra levels on Freezing Pulse matter a lot, and quality = effective range.

You only need one life flask, and you don't need any mana flasks. There are several cheap DPS flasks you could be using instead - Wise Oak, Atziri's Promise, silver flasks, diamond flasks.

Your wands are OK, but you have 12 potential DPS mods. You probably want one as projectile speed, and the rest as DPS. At the moment you have 7, plus one semi mod from the synthesised wand.

Watchers Eye is going to be worthwhile to you, particularly as you already have a medium cluster jewel. The socket from that jewel can hold the Eye. There are single mod %cold damage for 35c at the moment, with better mods at 2 and 3ex.

Flash freeze. I'm going to try Doom Cast if I ever gain another level, but projectile speed and greater freezing efficiency is nice with flash freeze.

For all those looking for wand or jewel dps upgrades, make weighted item searches using https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester

This will load your pob and spit out a pre filled in weighted search. You would be surprised what comes up and can often find extremely good deals on the mods best for your exact build.

However .... the page i am redirect to has NOTHING pre-selected at all - i have to add some numbers at it seems manually - so this tool does not help at all sadly.

however... not the tool creates a search query for jewels ... and there are only jewels specific mods pre-selected.

so i made a search manually ... and at least found out the "compare a result to your current equip", and got a sweet 30k dps increase via a new 2.8ex wand, i quite like, no more "non offense" mod



really wanted a second "+1 skill" or at least some projectile speed, but this one i could not resist ^^

I am always confused, how damage can be pushed. I am struggling pushing mine by huge steps. Currently stucking at 950k boss dps. What would be the best strongest improvements for a small budget (6ex)?

Could you make your character public please? It's much easier to look at gear that way than importing to POB.

For whatever it's worth, I'm 348k hideout DPS & ~8.3k eHP so there may be ideas you can borrow from that character.

Out of interest, what's your hideout DPS, with only auras on?

As for boosting tips: quality on DPS gems adds up pretty quickly.

I'd go for 2x medium cluster jewels at the expense of coldhearted calculation and written in blood. Medium cluster jewels can give pretty huge boosts. Coordination & precision are good passives to take rather than +30 dex if you can find the points. The jewel socket near Mystic Bulwark is easy to get to/too.

Then you're into Watcher's Eye kind of upgrades. %cold damage is cheap - 35c last time I checked - and you have a free jewel socket with a couple of passive points. Better mods are available at 3-4ex.

After that you're probably looking at wanting damage on gloves, then into +2 gem amulets and +gems Soul Mantle, and flask upgrades in there somewhere.
