but nothing after that
A reddit mod deleted my post of me and all my drops. It was an image of pablo, on a siwng, forever alone.

The mods on reddit are pathetic hand muppets mistakenly believing their actions give their meaningless lives a purpose. Spoiler alert, it doesn't. It shows how weak and gutless you truly are.

This honestly feels like the biggest scamm I've ever fell into, whatever it is, ggg's fault or twitch's fault, it's sad to realize we are getting nothing, I was quite hyped for 3.9, but now I kinda just wanna wait for 4.0 and see if it will be worth playing.
yea I was rather excited for this twitch stream as well. even ordered a pizza. but sadly now there's no way I can show other people in-game of my time well spent supporting the game. Truly a sad day indeed when instead of poe2.0 and patch 4.0 talk the only thing in-game and on twitch chat STILL is no drops.

In b4 some hidden rules of whole countries being excluded by IP due to "anti gambling" laws or "lottery monopoly" or some other shenanigans, like how many games have "bring a friend and we give you a prize" type of programs and then some countries are axed from the list due to "anti pyramid scheme" laws.

Even though this is literally virtual reward with no money involved...

The only thing I'm looking forward to is an official statement, the most sincere apology I've ever heard, and a plan to reimburse us.

They profited from our viewership. We deserve recompense ourselves.
Watched the whole thing minus the race(still had it open while in the other room though)

zero drops... something seems off. Since there are several people reporting they got multiple drops and a ton who got none.

hmm.. does this include America.... it feels like it includes America after what just happened.
Seeing how viewership brings them revenue, how is this not fraud?

I mean I don't expect anybody to ever give a fucking shit about us (especially you GGG), but they gained by making false promises.. They walk away with what they wanted, while giving us nothing in return -- and if the people who are answering our emails are any indication -- nothing will be done, they aren't sorry, and fuck us for expecting them to actually fulfill their end of the promise...

Which by the way, was GUARANTEED 5.5 hours for a drop "or sooner".

This is fraud.

Really unfair some people are getting 5+ drops while other get nothing... Yes, these are old mtx and nothing to kill for, but would be nice to see for once we're all a part of a community instead of having first and second grade citizens.

Especially after seeing people who got multiple drops come here and spit on the ones who got nothing, I really thought poe community is more mature than that, instead we have a bunch of kids coming laughing "I got my ice cream and you didn't, nyah nyah nyah" and ironically calling the other ones "entitled crybabies", people who benefitted from this unfair distribution should really stay silent and not embarrass themselves.

How can they claim there were only 12k eligible accounts, when viewership was in 60-100k numbers and according to the stats link there were 40k+ followers alone on the first day, you'd think 70% of them somehow didn't link their account? Or watch poe but don't play it? Makes zero sense.

I got only 1 drop on Friday a few hours in after two full days and I was actually expecting 0 drops with my usual luck.

And it does make sense. A few of my friends watched the stream as well but didn't link their account up because they don't care for the drops or was not aware of the drops. And they never check forums or Reddit either. They just play the game. I am not speaking for the majority or minority but a lot of players don't bother with posting or checking forums or Reddit.

So I wouldn't be surprised if only 12k are actually eligible. I watched a few Twitch drop events in the past on my SmartTV anonymously, not logged in. Some people just don't care, not aware of the drop event, or did not check their account on Path of Exile website because it does not show on Twitch App. I didn't even know I had drops until I checked the website which led me to this thread.

It is probably bugged, that one guy got multiple drops within minutes. Maybe there is a backlog/delay of drops. Maybe there is a bug being viewed on PC browser, mobile app, desktop app or SmartTV or maybe it's working as intended. There are a lot of variables.

Seriously no one knows until GGG/Twitch officially provide a statement and

"
Every five minutes of view time you'll have a 1.5% chance to receive one of the prizes which means it would take an average of 5.5 hours of view time to receive a Twitch Drop reward.

On average it takes 5.5 hours, it is not guaranteed after 5.5 hours. You can watch for 100 hours and still not get anything. You can watch for the first minute and get one.

Edit:

"
We've been having a backlog with giving away the Twitch Drops rewards. If you have won a prize, it will be given to you very soon! Thanks for your patience!
