i am trying your build and so far it is a lot of fun. :) Since the rings are not that cheap anymore - (and even more expensive, till it appears to be very rare to find one with good stats - let alone two) i wondered if you could use a "Essence Worm" for the free Aura and run the herald with a "Hungry Loop" - you will loose one support gem though, and the herald will reserve 40% more - but i guess, it will work out. This also would give you the freedom to use the Blade vortex or Bladefall in your chest - which should also workout fine. Also i was asking myself if a guard skill like Steelskin (or Immortal call, if you got something to keep your Endurance Charges up) isnt more effective than Molten Shell, because the Fire Damage from Molten Shell cant apply because the Daggers dont allow Elemental damage - or am i seeing that wrong? " I personally like the coming calamity as alternative better because it also gives +2 to herald skill levels which is awesome! I think the hungry loop is a interesting idea! Molten Shell is very powerful with high armour values. @bashtart - oh i see - thx - looked at molten shell and thought it is "only" 1k damage prevented - when its in fact 10k :D
Coming Calamity - i know, that it will be a good boost for the herald and sure helps with reserved mana i will try it. I will probably test a few different setups - even with the Herald-rings if i can get one or two. Really thinking about the rings and a Daressos Defiance now that you opened my mind for Molten Shell - but with the Endurance-Charges probably Immortal Call will work as well. Most likely i will end on the things you mentioned - but i like to think about workarounds and stuff more than farm currency - dont judge me for being stubborn (and probably sometimes stupid) - as i said - i like your guide and have a huge amount of respect for the work you put in. Thanks for this build! It works very fine as a league starter with little gear (I was mapping before getting dagger with a 4 link, works out fine). It's a pretty tanky build with decent damage, whirling blades offers fast movement and the clear isn't even that bad.
I'm level 89 atm with this build, starting to face some tougher enemies in red maps, which don't melt so easily and the metamorphs sometimes can one shot me. My PoB is this: https://pastebin.com/XHWyyVZB I have about 400k dps/sentinel while using chieftains for clear speed. I moved away from bubble boys after getting the elder helmet drop and crafting it usable. Any suggestions for improvements to damage and survivability? I think getting a six link is a priority atm. " Well your basic gear looks already decent. I think upgrading you rare items for more life and resistances (also chaos) should be your main goal. Obviously also a 6link would increase your dps massivly. Soon you reach the öoint where you can upgrade the quality of your skill gem which will push your dos and clear speed. Priority should be Herald of Purity because it will increase your cleer speed really nice. Then I would also upgrade the quality of your flasks for more survivability. Thank for the build, really appreciable and inexpensive, smooth and easy leveling, i start map now and work fine. First time I play guadian, a real pleasure. Thank you for the excellent guide.

Love this build. Best char i had in a long time. Dunno if it was mentioned already somewhere but is it okay to anoint "The Ravenous Horde" on your amulet? (cause already did that D:)
Or does that mess with something? No that experienced with anointing. | |
