Btw anything you see that can upgrade my dps to 3m? or im missing some configurtion on my PoB
Guys I know this has probably been discussed 1000 times and I'm sorry to add a "wtf am I doing wrong" post. I tried reading through the posts but over 80 pages is a lot.
To start off, I played POE pre Breach and I'm just coming back during 3.9. I played a Witch Necro and breezed up to 90 before deciding I wanted a super tanky build to play with delves since I completely missed that league. I really like the idea of this build because I've never played an all energy shield build before but I know I *MUST* be doing something wrong. I bought basically all the gear listed for level 68, even purchased a Circle of Nostalgia and I only have ~3000 energy shield. I have max res and I'm still having trouble with white maps with no modifiers.
The only thing I can possibly think is I just somehow misread the guide or I've gotten something confused due to being basically new to the game after so many years. I hate to be, "Please look at my gear and tell me what's wrong" type people but I'm at the point where I want to stripe the character and reroll. I'd hate to do that since I think it's a cool idea and I invested a lot of the money I've made this league in gearing this character. So, please if you don't mind, tell me where I made my mistake.

Shock only gives 18% shock (we recommend looking up LocalIdentity's fork of POB). So you have 1.75 million. Unfortunately the next jump is going to be super expensive as you will need a proper corrupted +2 gem level in Skin of Loyal, Circle of Nostalgia etc. To use clarity you will also need Skin of the Loyal.
I think mortal conviction is an amazing budget friendly choice that makes our build cost back down to earth. I will add to the guide as something to look out for.
I would just keep the tree the same and replace enlighten with dread banner for 10% MORE damage. This way you can easily upgrade to better stuff later.

Overall having a pretty fun time with this build. Cold Iron Point was very nice for gem level boost but +1 minion gem wand with trigger craft is insanely more convenient to play with.
Survivability is also great at around 14k ES and no Lethal Pride yet.
But honestly the damage output is kind of weak against bosses/metas (at 24-26 Herald of Agony level anyway). Obviously there is still lots of room for upgrades (21 gem levels, empower 4, some corruptions, etc...) so things will get better eventually.
