Well, my Review
I am at lvl 92 and have the "High Priority Upgrades". I am at 13,7k ES. Even without the luxus upgrades it is the most expensive build I ever had. + Shaper was fairly easy and I died only once (wanted to see if I can tank the Zana Bubble Phase - nop) + Killed der Elder twice deathless (Ring of Death hits me with 70-80%) + Delve at 250 is still smooth + Sirius & Conquerers at T8 can be Deathless if I don't facetank the obvious big stuff + Über Izaro can totally be facetanked + Mapping speed is OK - Got my ass kicked by Über Elder (6th portal at like 15%). It was my 3rd try ever on this encounter. I always loose the overview and where the target is. Managed to kill it last season with a Cyclone Slayer on second try, that had the advantage to be always at the target and dont need to stop to cast anything. - Metamorphs cannot be tanked. They are too random and every 10th Metamorph there is one that simply onehits you (even with 4 Flasks active). - Some special attacks cannot be tanked like the Rain of one of the bosses in Vaal Pyramid - The Crawler isn't fast enough for high blighted Maps - Proximity Shield is a pain When I am at 95 I probably have 1000 more ES and another 20% DPS. Then I try Über elder again. |

" Becuase you need to hit alot to keep up poison stacks. Arc is great for clearing but poor stack upkeep for bossing. I have been swapping out. |

Some good insight.
Definitely not the face tanking build I was hoping for, but it's still a fun build to play even though it's been expensive. I'm glad I got my expectations readjusted and came back to this thread to get some further details. Going to stick with this build the rest of the league, and then look for something that will allow me to tank easy and delve deep the next league. Problem I always run into is most of the face tank builds are super expensive. I think so far the best build I ever had was the righteous fire chieftain from The syndicate league. Haven't done much since he's moved to standard but at the very least I can run t16 maps with no issue. Still, hoping I can find a bill that will allow me to face tank the hardest hits in the game. I have plenty of strategic builds but have yet to find one that can fully face tank on a budget. I'm lucky to get four ex a league. |

Facetank everything is kinda out the window this league.. it seems.
I too startet with this build (budget) until I noticed that for all tankiness it has shitty sustain, and that one's crucial for facetanking. Right now I got better sustain with cwc icestorm guardian that sits just short of 27k armor (75k with flasks, iron reflexes+ shaper's touch is quite strong with int stacking), and I still can't reliably facetank the metamorphs, though its getting better and works most of the time with flasks and vaal molten shell. But the character is almost done and leaves little room to further scale damage. It's barely enough.... but struggling with incursions and failing most blights sucks. |

As someone who tested many guardians versions recently, this build is OK, but there are more affordable, tankier guardians out there with better dps(mapping & boss) as well.
I still can't find one that can also do blight and legion well. If anyone has any leads on that please let me know If you have issue with ball lightning on bosses you might want to try storm brand with either rune binder skin of the lords or rune binder annoytment- you set it and forget it and can just dodge instead of casting ball all the time |
