My PoB DOES calculate the damage from the Transfigurations, I use the LocalIdentity fork.

And it gives damage based on mana. Not minion damage. The only thing it does is boost my Ball Lightning damage by around 7 times its value.

I don't want to argue with you and convince you of something, just check in the game, not in pob.

In any case all options are good :)

To be fair there is nothing about minion damage with that helmet. If it increased minion damage there gotta be someone using it on Ninja. Generally speaking unless it explicitly stated minion, minions don't get it.

If you can take a before/after screenshot, and it doubles/triples crawler damage, our build just got a Raider/Scourge arrow variant :)

I have some problems with auras, what is the cheapest way to run Hated + skitterbots? I'm using vicius projectile for my agony and have a CoN with 37% reduce at the moment
Considering selling my gear off, if anyone is interested hit me up :)

Corrupt jewels with mana reservation along with conquerers efficiency and enlighten.

You should test it out in pob to find your cheapest solution

If that helm is in my price range I'd be interested tonight. Probably can't afford it though

1) Conqueror's Efficiency
2) Enlighten 3
3) Two corrupted jewels with +1% to mana reservation reduction
4) Remove Clarity as it is useless without Watcher.

Run this in POB and you should get it.

The difference in skeleton levels must make a huge difference because this is not my experience at all. When my internet isn't getting ping spikes my clear speed is similar to videos Sabba has on his twitch channel (I watched them with that specifically in mind after everyone said skeleton clear was bad).

Reflect maps are fine, you just recast skeles more often (think of it as using an attack spell). Metamorphs rarely decimate my skeletons, the really nasty ones can kill them but I just keep re-summoning them and they go down (typical metamorh from t14-16 with a max tube dies in under 3 seconds, some nasty ones can go up to 10 seconds).

I recently ditched the flayers and added the apes and a AG. Sitting at 24k ES and 6-10m DPS (haven't re-ran PoB yet but it should be 6m mapping and near 10m bossing with gem swap)

I had pretty much maxed gear afaik. +2 duration skin, +2 weapon, lvl 21 vaal skellies, empower 4. Skeletons were level 30 with 830k dps with ruthless, 550k with splash. Maybe I just didn't like the playstyle as much but it definitely felt more awkward and annoying to play. For example I've never had to respawn a flayer once ever but had to summon apes multiple times, sometimes in a single map.

I believe my skeletons were level 30 also and I also didn’t like it as much as hoa. I very much liked having discipline and I did notice the extra defense but it was just clunky for mapping. I switched back and it felt much smoother although not as tanky.

I’ve since added 2 or 3 levels to hoa getting up to 31. I’ve dropped a bit of es down to 14k (no watchers eye) but the dps is insane and gameplay feels so smooth now. I’m only at awakened 5 but sirus was no problem although I died once, it was to me screwing up a storm so not related to the build. Otherwise he and his conquerors drop quite quickly.

I highly recommend lvl 31 hoa if you can do it. Even if you lose 500 es or so, it’s worth it!
A bit late to the party, but can someone with stoneskin flayers invite me please? I'm online now and my IGN is ChaosLitany. Thanks!

Edit: Got'em - thanks!!

Vaal skeletons actually did make certain fights better. I think it was easier for bossing because the AI for skeletons seems to be better than the HOA AI.

It made boss fights a lot easier for me
Summon skeleton has 0 cast time. If you use ball lightning, you're literally standing there for for .75 sec (or less if you have % spell cast speed). After I summon skeletons, I just run around until they die and occasionally recast, which they actually did not die too often. I had to slow down on reflect maps and summon more but otherwise for bossing I thought it was better. I did make the mistake of having taunt on my skeletons through an abyss jewel. DO NOT DO THIS! Keep the flayer spectres with taunt. This is probably why some of you are losing your sksletons quickly. If you have taunt for all minions then your skellies will get melted.

With skeletons, I had curse with vuln on a ring and enfeeble on my gloves with whispers of doom. so that freed up a trigger on my weapon or a gem in general. I then ran carrion golem to buff the skeletons.

Also with skeletons, you have the vaal skill which summons like 40+ skeletons. Destroys bosses

I think for mapping, hoag is better because of the pierce and spread, but then when you boss, pierce is not the best gem to use. Skeletons are pretty fast with melee splash

This game is about trade offs, hard to find an awesome bosser and mapper.

Personal opinion is that for bossing skeletons is better. allows for a faster reacting character. ball lightning slows you down and you have to predict stuff or get faster spell casting.
