yeah, high res rings are kinda cheap to buy as we don't need life or dmg modifiers on them. flat mana or es are a plus but they both add to the cost.
https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Metamorph/Lg6GqE2In is the search i'd recommend to get a good ring. aim for as much total res as you can afford and then add either flat mana or ES for a bit more total EHP. if there is an empty prefix then that's a plus as you can add mana or es to it. the expensive thing is adding the catalysts. as the guy above said, it's around 2ex to buy 20 of them to quality the ring. but it's worth it on a high res ring. a 160% total res ring becomes 192% with the quality which makes it a LOT easier to cap Last edited by crazypearce#3760 on Jan 4, 2020, 1:50:09 AM

Hi, I moved on from my league starter (ground slam juggernaut using staves). He's great at clearing but not so good on bosses on the higher awakening levels.
I'm got to L68 using the templar using quill rain and this tree. I've changed to the gear now with the whatu shield and cold iron point. At first I couldn't kill anything, no virulence charges. I figured out I needed lesser poison support to get some chaos (poison) damage. I looked at the L94 and L100 trees. They don't have lesser poison support on them, so how do they poison stuff for HoA to do stuff? And are the L94 trees supposed to have all 4 auras on at the same time? (HoA, hatred, skitterbots and flesh and stone) PS. The L94 PoB link is not L94, it's a L100 character when I open it on my PoB. |

so maybe it's easier to craft a +2 wand than i thought. it only took two tries to get this one and it's a 12% dps upgrade over my regular +1 wand
free suffix as well to meta craft it to get minion attack speed and then it's a +16.3% dps increase. which is pretty huge at my current gear because the dmg is pretty much maxed out as it can be right now. just need to get the final recipe and then i can craft it. spent 1ex on fossils/resonators, 3ex to metacraft it for a total of 4ex. the cheapest ones like this on the market are like 20ex. so either that's insanely lucky or there are some people crafting tons of these easily and making absolutely ridiculous profits i also found a bottled faith earlier from the cortex and that's a nice upgrade over the regular sulphur flask. it's much easier to keep the regen because of the radius/duration and the extra dmg is always a plus when you are at high awakening levels. all in all a pretty good day considering i didn't really even play that much lol Last edited by crazypearce#3760 on Jan 4, 2020, 5:23:24 AM

Whaddup everyone just a short question: for boots there is an enchantment "adds x fire damage if you have killed recently" wouldnt that be extremely beneficial for the sake of EE? Or is there another enchant which is more useful, like the regen enchant?
Additionally, someone told me to got for an elder belt instead of my crystal belt but if I equip a perfectly rolled cyclopean coil I get around 300es but lose a shitton of resistances. Is a rare elder belt with %attr really the best endgame option? |

" different strokes for different folks. both options are good. but at the end of the day, why bother trying to roll an elder crystal belt with % attributes? you will gain some resists sure, but they're kinda redundant as you can basically cap with one ring and boots. so really you are gaining maybe 500-600ES, with perfect rolls, over a coil but losing shock and ignite immunity. and as we are already so tanky i'd rather keep the immunity over potentially 500ES Last edited by crazypearce#3760 on Jan 4, 2020, 5:32:48 AM

Just came across the idea to use fertil catalysts on the synthesis ring to get higher reduced mana reservation rolls but according to poedb that wont work even though it works for spells like purity of lightning.
