I made this new skill tree for 3.16 and I'm sure it isn't the best one, but I hope it help you guys getting a general idea how the skill tree would look like this league.

" Might be mistaken but if u picked Occultis in Witch do we need again enchant Whispers of Doom on boots? Or maybe we can add here eg. flat +30 Intl or node with +20Int and some extra ES or Mana |

" picking Occultist allows us to run a 2nd curse, and whispers of Doom for the 3rd one. I think a 3rd curse would benefit the build more than some flat int and ES. Just my opinion. |

I've been trying to get a tree to work with Charisma. With it, we can sub a 50% aura for flesh and stone. I'm thinking hatred or purity of elements. My best so far:

My proposal for classic version (and leveling)
Exact same number of points/skills/gems/items as in the original. https://pastebin.com/X7RJ55wP Some can pick up other masteries for better synergy with a gear and scourge enchantments we'll earn on the way to 80+ lvl. |

well i gona start Witch version...
if build not gona be ok due to nerfing def - blind and fortify for us, and no dmg buff for us(give me back noncapped whispering ice!) in same activities, not speaking about uber versions of blight-delirium 20/30 waves etc, it's time to seek new build for play :/ Yeah with uber gear it's playable, but uber gear cost's too much...and if league gona be dead like exp => dead trade, its even worse xD Last edited by archwerewolf#0781 on Oct 19, 2021, 5:51:50 AM

I messed around with the tree with both, witch and scion, I felt that we lost about about 20% damage and 10-15% ES... beyond that we lost the fortfy and blind.
I had few minutes to play with the passives. Later today i gonna give another try to find a way to keep the build viable for all game content, but I think that if GGG dont buff the Ice storm itself to compensate the loss, this build will not be viable anymore. This is an extreme expensive build to make all game content, beyond that it is slow. This is a fact, I know what Im talking about, I played this build every league since Delirium from league start until the endgame so i know well all the aspects of the build. Who play this build til the endgame, play with it not because the power of the build, but because enjoy how the build works and playstyle. I dont know. I'm feeling that dark days are comming for Ice Storm. Let's hope for someone find a way to make WI shine again! |
