just respeced to a zombie build which seems similar to this but found it to be a total fail with blight encounters. Huge damage while zombies were alive but they just died too easily and could not be replaced quickly enough to do the blight missions. If i respec to this build will i have the same problem?
Can view my current build on Daryl_as_always.
Need some good advice please.
Thanks.

Get a source of leech to keep zombies alive - either take one of the leech nodes on the tree or (better) get it on a jewel to save the skill point.

You don't need Indomitable Army - respec those points elsewhere - I'd probably take life.

Anoint your amulet for Death Attunement and respec those points as well.

This build has no problems whatsoever with blight encounters; I just stay near the pump and hit Vaal Summon Skeletons when the vaal skeletons die off/despawn. Haven't failed a single encounter this way.

Already some good suggestions but not having a single point of strength on belt and jewellery is the biggest hole in your setup. That's at least an extra 200 base strength you're potentially missing (before percentage increases). No need yet to immediately spend big on an elder % attributes belt or +1 zombie amulet, but even just having some cheaper stock standard +str jewellery/heavy belt would be a noticeable improvement. Astramentis is one of the recommended beginner amulets and adds a ton to your strength.

What is the tooltip life of your zombies? I don't know if the tooltip value takes into account increases from minion life stats and baron strength, but for comparison mine says 94k life and my zombies pretty much never die - the most I've ever lost is 3-4 zombies from them being caught in 10+ flame bearer explosions and the last time that happened was with worse gear than what I have now. T16 blights or T15 blight maps are never an issue - can more or less AFK near the pump and not lose a single zombie.

Thanks guys, will follow your advice, thanks for that.
Zombie tooltip life is 111k so looks like that leech jewel for zombies is a must.

A leech jewel definitely helps, although I was farming elder maps for quite some time without one and never had a problem with zombies dying outside of losing a couple once in a blue moon.

You have CoD and Sacrifice skilled already which is enough minion res and your zombies seem to have more life than mine so I can't actually figure out why yours are dying in blights. Only other difference I can see that's relevant to zombie survivability is I run chaos golem for phys reduction instead of stone golem however the difference I think should be marginal at best.

Regardless, getting minion leech should definitely be a cheap and easy improvement to make.

The Golem buff only applies to you, not to your minions.

Thanks was not aware of that.
hey guys, did a lot of changes to my tree and gear recently.

https://pastebin.com/598UVeUy

Wondering if there's any mistakes I've made, improvements etc.

Want to push to 100. Currently half way to 99.

Any gear check would be fantastic.

btw, I have an open socket in my chest. (Yeah, I could replace it for a 5 link) and use vaal molten shell, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
Hello exiles.

First thanks for the build It's by far the most powerful I have used. The ration cost/effectivness is awesome.

Here is my stuff ( my tree is available)

First I know I should craft + 2socketed supported gem. I'm currently doing Mastermind lair to unlock the recipe.
And 4L my shaper and linking Enlight to my aura gem.

But next what is the priorities ?

-An elder belt with +%Attributes ?

-Change my Armour If I go for Saqawal's Nest it means I need to craft a jewel with aspect of the avian?
-Improve the current one by 6L it

-Rerolling my lethal pride until 10% or 15% Increased strenght ?

-Buying a kingmaker and give it to my Animate Guardian ?

Wich option is the most profitable ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I also have a few question regarding Aura and Gems:
How essential is War banner ? Does my minions really need that boost of accuracy or is it a leftovers from an old guide and war banner was only there to bennefit from commander of darkness.

Same question for Flesh and stone.

If I switch those 2 aura for
Skitterbot
Will it be better

I have 1 slot left for a gem sticking a golem is probably the best no ?

Finally what about a Watcher's eyes with phasing while Haste ? It could free one more slot for another skill

Thanks for reading.
I'm still having lots of fun and I greatly enjoy blight map and event.

Hi.
I had about 120ex, and I started playing this build with the chaos conversion.
These are my gears so far.

I have a question. Is there anything I can do to increase my life/ES? I'm currently delving around 600, and the bosses pretty much oneshot me.
I know I can get a +1 socketed gem albreon and take off the mana cost craft on amulet for life, but other than that.
Also, I'm currently at 94. Should I go for another jewel socket or life node?

Tree is basically the same as mine, so I'd say it looks good :P
Versatility is for missing Dex/Int I assume?
The Lethal Pride seems a bit weak on the Strength, might wanna go for more there? That is if you can afford losing the res you get from it. A good Lethal Pride could probably even push you towards 1500 Strength.
And you could try to get a ring with more Life than your current Unset Ring (do you even need an Unset Ring if you have an open Socket on the Chest?)
Or put Fortify in your Cyclone Setup. It's not really needed but you are definitely not always getting Fortify from AG from my experience.
Melee Physical Damage is better than Ruthless.
But overall really solid from my view, there is of course always the possibility to increase Strength/Life/Resists here and there by a few points but nothing thats really necessary or even worth it.
