If you want to go skeletons, here's what I'd do:
1) move your zombie setup into your mace so that the zombie gem gets the +2 level buff; start a skeleton setup in your chest.
2) rework your passive tree for the skeleton setup; for example, you don't want the Golem Commander node. Refer to the opening post for the proper tree.
3) buy a Vaal Summon Skeletons gem for your summon skeleton skill; if you can afford it, buy one with some quality on it as this will slightly increase dps;
4) on a temporary basis, as you level, you may need to do some things not covered by this guide to temporarily solve problems, e.g. temporarily run purity of elements if you're very short on resists, maybe run clarity if you have mana issues etc.
5) early on in the game, I'm not terribly concerned about an occasional death since the cost of dying is so low. At this point in the game I nearly always wear a Tabula Rasa to get an 6-link. If you're OK with less defenses early on I'd go this route. If you can't afford a tabula you can farm the card for it - humility - in act 9, "The Blood Aqueduct."

Just want to thanks all people spreading idea here i've found my final build, after playing pure hp/phys and chaos build, which is using soul tether + shaper's touch.

I now can destroying everything and even with my potatoe pc i don't die anymore with my 11k EHP :)

Not sure what is meant by 'pricey to craft' here? Surely, buying a decenlStr/Life/Res ring with empty suffix for 80-100c and then crafting Aspect is the way to go here? Buying a similar ring with avian already crafted seems to go for at least 1-2ex.

So I crafted this today - Replaced my old one. Spent 10 ex though, can divine for more str.

Oddly enough i'm selling my old one for 10 ex to start - might lower to 9, 8, 7 etc if it doesn't sell. I'm fine losing a few ex on it.

Too expensive imo. Should be hitting that in ~2500 alts, 50 regals, 50 scours, 2.5ex for 3 imprint and 2 ex multimod

I'll list it for 6 then.

Also, I swapped to geofris/shapers touch, and realized I was able to drop A LOT of life nodes and get a ton more str. I had to get elemental damage and light of divinity, which is 2 pts "lost" for 4 str and 10 str/int + 5% increased str. So it's okay for now. I've spent over 20 ex on divines and this is the best so far.

I broke 1500 finally though. Below is my gear, 1542 str. Before I swapped I had 16 zombies at about ~820k?(chaos) ea with avians double damage up, to dropping avians all together, getting geofri's and shapers touch to them being ~681k physical each. I had 7k hp with 1.8k shield with spirit offering up. Now I have 5.2k hp and 8.9k shield w/ spirit offering. I also run chaos golem and earth golem. So I lost 1.8k hp and gained 7.1k shield.

Below is my gear, i'm super happy w/ my build and can't wait to hit 100 with it.



The Lethal pride is 15% with using 2 extra skill points, which is fine imo. I'm going to go over with a fine tooth comb on everything to see where else I can make changes if at all.

Chaos - 13.1m
Phys - 11.6m (with the extra zombie)

Obviously I can optimize damage much higher, I've dropped skeletons, i'm not 100 and don't have perfect gear. But the dps difference isn't even noticeable. However the toughness difference is insanely huge, I'm basically immortal now lol.

I still want a good baron enchant too.

2 Ditch mana flask and get Oak (if u can optimise all 3 ele res)/ taste of hate / quartz (delve)

3 Use enlighten in gloves for +1 its cheap to recolor, dont be lazy
