[3.25] The Warbringer Slaming Serker [League Starter | Cheap | Smash the Atlas | MELEE BUFFED]
Sorry if this has been asked already, but would Pain Reaver be a viable option for one of the ascendancies?
| |
" So for now pre uber lab still going through story etc I should keep rage support? What about fortify? Ruthless so high above Fist of War etc?
" yes, it is written in guide under ascendancies
" once you get crave the slaughter you can drop rage, unless you like getting more rage per attack Fist of War is about 31% dps, ruthless pulverise fortify are all higher, but less AoE obviously
" I'm currently running it and it feels much better. Lvl 61 with crappy items and my full buffed dmg is 21k+.
So is everyone using ground slam or earth shatter? I wasn't sure about the detonate mines aspect of the shatter gameplay.
The build should support Earthquake fine just curious what people are using.
Absolutely loving the build in this new league.
Basically ended up starting off exactly as you did in your day 4 update. Currently zipping through content and am looking at the build. As a newer player to PoE (and never played anything past where I am, though have played ARPGs like this since D2 launched) I'm curious about your choice in Endurance charge passives. How much of an increase in surviveability do these extra charges add up to, as I was looking at maybe investing into some warcry passives instead. Though, to be honest even now they aren't that bad to use piano style. Moving all the skills other than GS onto Blood Magic was a major boost (was having a REALLY hard time trying to squeeze Pride in before that). I opted out of running Blood Rage in the CWDT chain and went with Temporal Chains as I am not a fan of the drain (maybe once I gear up a bit more) but not sure if its really that beneficial to the build as I'm starting to feel like speed debuffs aren't as good for a build like this that literally just pops everything in front of it and feel like something else can be used better here. Enfeeble and Immortal Call are good, I was thinking perhaps Punishment, Vulnerability or Warlords Mark instead though I'd prefer to keep it defensive (with FoW and all the warcry abilities I'm not in need of offense right now lol). I'm also having trouble figuring out how to squeeze in Fortify. I have no cluster jewel as its far too expensive for me at this point, and I'm not sure where to squeeze it in. I used to run it on Leap Slam and just use it every now and then to keep it up. But with Dash, that is not an option. I suppose I could link it into the Ancestral Warcheif but I don't use it very often as I can usually mow down every before it can really do anything. And Dash has become so much better to use, that I refuse to go back to Leap Slam unless it gets changed (too finicky in rooms, near doors, etc. as well as being a bit clunky compared to Dash. No CD is very nice though). The build really reminds me of a Leap/Seismic Slam build I run in D3 a lot and is probably the most fun build to play imo. Appreciate you putting this together, as I tried a popular League Starter build last league in Enkis Arc Witch but it was just too boring. This is much more fun to play. It's a shame Leap Slam isn't as good for this build as it fits the aesthetic really well but not as well for gameplay as Dash. So having looked over your gear, I now see why you have the extra Endurance charges as they interact with Tidebreaker. Last edited by DymeDef on Jun 24, 2020, 10:29:52 PM

" Earthshatter does indeed feel great, both amazing clear aoe and single target i will try to do a full overhaul of the guide when i have time, but basically theres 0 changes needed to use earthshatter and it feels really strong with the warcrying we do
" thank you so much for the detailed feedback! glad you are enjoying endurance charge passives are key if you are using tidebreaker, it boosts its innate link (endurance charge on melee stun) and gives increased phys if not using tidebreaker, can probably skip endurance charges remember you can only curse an enemy once naturally, you will need "you can curse an additional time" in order to stack them. using multiple in cwdt will overwrite one fort can be put into main gs link instead of melee phys, its about 15% phys more multi but fortify defense is very strong until you find overlord dash does indeed feel great, definitely going to be my go to im glad you find the build fun! theres something very enjoyable about just running around smash things with a big hammer |
