[3.25] The Warbringer Slaming Serker [League Starter | Cheap | Smash the Atlas | MELEE BUFFED]
" Would you use the impaler keystone for this build if you can get to 100% impale chance and have high attack speed, or just let the aps take care of getting multiple impales? Or maybe something like the great old one's tentacles? |
|
Is the jury out on the relative strengths of Tombfists vs. Spiked Gloves vs. Debilitation Gauntlets?
I understand the logic behind upgrading to Awakened Melee Physical Damage Support first, then dropping Tombfists, just wondering which of the other 2 options above would be better. Also gotta advise not sleeping on Shockwave Support, insane for obliterating packs while in sand stance. |
|
" I think if you can pick up - Forceful Skewering (drop Berserking) - Swift Skewering (drop Spinceruncher) - Get Enlighten lvl 3 and squeeze in Dread Bannner - Use Impale Support - Use Great Old One's Tentacles gloves (drop Tombfists) You will end up with an extra couple million dps If you need extra skill points you can also drop Born to fight and the 1 life node which sits just beneath it. You may also need to get extra Dex somewhere such as on a ring or jewel. How it would feel in-game with this impale setup? I'm not really sure, I may give it a try this league and report back. If anyone else has any insight that would be amazing to hear from you :) |

" I am using the Debilitation Gauntlets and i dont feel any downtime in my rotation, so for me its 40% inc vs 20% inc. But i guess, if you spam warcries more/faster than me, it might be a problem. |

How much DPS does (Would?) a random 2handed mace be to be better than a Tidebringer
5 link if it matters |
|
" I'm not sure if anything actually can beat out Tidebreaker assuming you have fully stacked Endurance Charges. I put a 700pDPS 2h-mace into my PoB and it was still a massive damage loss compared to Tidebreaker. Note here is PoB for the impale setup I mentioned in a previous post: https://pastebin.com/C27GLaCn |

I picked up PoE after a very long break, I think the last time I played this was during the 2.0 times. Back then I tried to play the game more in the HC leagues, but never got into the real end game due to deaths early in the 80's and so I never got properly into the PoE and the true end game mapping and grinding. Now a few years later I got the urge to get into the game again and chose to play the regular ritual league - a choice I now don't regret. Game has changed quite a bit and there's a ton of new stuff I have to get familiarized.
I chose this guide as my first character with a fresh start into the game and it has been fairly easy breezing through the Acts and now up to the tier 5-6 maps, due to the fact that most of the items are quite cheap and easily available. Some major things I still lack is at least the Ryslatha's coil, which is out of my price range (I have currently around ~3 exalts, haven't really tried to farm currency yet) and I've been looking for cheap 24/25% Lion's Roar for few evenings now. Also I'm now thinking over the choice of saving my currency for Ryslatha's or buying the Overlord large cluster jewel first. Also my helmet is pure trash, but again the fortify or gs40% enchanted ones are so pricy that I haven't had a chance to obtain them yet. Haven't really got into the crafting world yet. Also my neck is something that I've been looking to change. I think my skill tree is pretty much done for, the extra future points are most likely for jewel setups or extra health? " yep, rare gloves are very strong and offer most utility. tombfists are just a very strong cheap unique that solves alot of problems, even offering nice abyss jewel potential shockwave is very strong and has been buffed numerous times, its also very run to use so i recommend picking one up at lvl 18 and lvling it to try it out |
|
" tidebringer having a natural link is very very strong, and its increased phys dmg per endurance charge is universal (works on explode chests) its very very hard to beat with a rare, and corrupting tidebreakers for a 8 link with fortify or onslaught is a very fun endgame money sink, or double corrupting ^^ |
