Animate weapon gameplay is a bit clunky and weak. Not suitable since we require minion life and %minion damage. You need to cast two different spells in order to summon them.

Skitterbot is a good alternative if you plan on switching aura. They provide free chill and shock at the cost of 35% mana reservation.

It is not compulsory. You can use any belt. If you can't manage to get the tavukai amulet, try and use the infernal legion support gem.

elegant hubris timeless jewel

the node that you should be after:

80% minion damage
- make your minion clear speed way faster
- the SRS will kill a lot of mobs before they went offand explode

80% minion life
- makes your overall minion life tougher
- Animate weapon/animate guardiam/spectre rarily die without support gem

You got the Coins number from your jewel for me? I tried like 10 elegant hubris, none had minion life on it.

keep trying, you will eventually get 1-2 sooner or later. While at meantime, go for the normal minion node on the passive tree.


While u at the passive tree, under the search, write down "minion". It will highlight all the minion nodes on the tree.
