[3.13] LIGHTNING ARROW/BARRAGE Deadeye Build / Zap your way forward! UBER ELDER DONE!

man this build doesnt work for me for some reason, i couldnt kill any boss at all, always asking for help, now in tier 1 maps i cant even reach to the boss without dying the 6 chances, you sure this works? i dont know how to farm if i cant kill at all

just don't stand still, spam steelskin and avoid caster mobs, kill them from range, u have shitton of chill, with herald of ice ur lightning arrow can clear whole packs without even 6th link for multiple projectiles, barrage yellow mobs (they will die in 0.05 seconds) etc
build works, but it is extremely squishy (my version tho) but can do most things pretty fine

Hello this is my first season and i decided to go for this build!
As you can understand im very noob and don't really know how to modify this build correctly myself. The leveling was pretty smooth and i was lucky to get a tabula early on. When i hit act 10 and then later maps i started to feel very squishy. Now i have capped my res and got some health on my gear and it feels a lot better.

Now i wonder if someone could be kind and take a look on my build and point me in the correct direction. Be harsh if you need, as i said im new.

well after playing for some time i can tell this build can be actually good in early/mid game... but to get into a full potential u need hellofalot of currency
u need a waist with lots of resistances almost maxed out ~ 1 ex
u need an aul's uprising neck to boost ur dps up - impossible to get atm
u need a doble wraith watcher's eye - go sell ur car to get it

now for some pluses- 5l windripper + 5l chest are pretty cheap and can give u hella boost at the early mapping, you can drop multi projectiles for LA for the first time and still be fine, chest is ez to make 5l also so barrage will just shit on the bosses... elder ring is cheap and u can pair it with some good resistance shaper ring for the first time, and later upgrade it to assassin's mark shaper ring for like 2-4 ex..

in conclusion: build works, actually some adrenalin pumping machine to roll around the map trying not to get hit, damage is not bad, but not great without most expensive upgrades (i got my 40% barrage dmg on hat from the first try and i use mark manually so it's kinda ok now) but probably just game style not for everyone lol

Hypothermia has the following 4 mods:

Supported Skills have 10% chance to Freeze Enemies which are Chilled
Supported Skills have 20% increased Effect of Chill on Enemies
Supported Skills deal (20-39)% more Cold Damage Over Time
Supported Skills deal (20-39)% more Damage with Hits and Ailments against Chilled Enemies

The only mod that matters on the gem is the one I coloured in red here, as it essentially serves as a 39% more damage multiplier, but only applies if your target is chilled (or frozen).

It's a decent link for Lightning Arrow, but more-less useless on Barrage if you're also using Elemental Focus, since EF has the "Supported Skills cannot inflict Elemental Ailments" mod, which in other words makes that skill unable to chill/freeze, and therefore will never enable the Hypothermia %more multiplier.

You use Elemental Focus on Barrage since that is your "bossing skill", and applying ailments to bosses is incredibly hard given their large health pools, and just getting a ~50% more damage multi instead is much better.

TL;DR: Never use Hypothermia and Elemental Focus on the same skill. Standalone they're both great for specific purposes.

As for Inspiration, it has the following mods:

Supported Skills have (25-34)% reduced Mana Cost
Gain an Inspiration Charge when you Spend Mana for Supported Skills
Lose all Inspiration Charges after Spending a total of (122-800) Mana with Supported Skills
Supported Skills deal (5-7)% more Elemental Damage per Inspiration Charge
Supported Skills have (6-8)% increased Critical Strike Chance per Inspiration Charge

Maximum amount of Inspiration stacks is 5, and you'll be at 5 stacks for pretty much the entire time in a map, since gaining new 5 stacks once the old ones drop off is almost instantaneous. You can also get 5 stacks before bosses even spawn since you don't actually have to hit something to gain a stack.

Therefore Inspiration is essentially a 35% more (5 stacks * 7%) damage multiplier and a 40% (5 stacks * 8%) increased Crit Chance multiplier at max gem level. That makes it much better than almost any other link in the game for both LA and Barrage.

Lightning Arrow
.> GMP or LMP
..> Elemental Damage with Attacks
...> Inspiration
....> Energy Leech
.....> (Awakened if possible) Added Cold or Added Lightning (whichever you scaled higher).

Barrage
.> Elemental Focus
..> Elemental Damage with Attacks
...> Inspiration
....> Energy Leech
.....> Level 20 Elemental Penetration (Granted via Shroud of the Lightless) or (Awakened if possible) Added Cold or Added Lightning (whichever you scaled higher).

You really don't need it. It's a pure luxury item.
Comparing how much it costs in relation to how much damage it grants you, even if you straight up had one to drop you should just sell it and improve the rest of your gear.
