I started a new ranger recently and this was one of the topics I checked for inspiration. As a long time player I can say that Vetroxbl is totally right: the POB here is not much to go on with. Taking a look at this thread Vetroxbl has been super helpful and it's ridiculous how badly this "angry" roleplayer is taking things. I've noticed this builder before, of course, and let's just say, thankfully, there are other options in these forums and elsewhere.

Since then creep/boss HP has almost doubled, and the mechanics revolve about being as tanky as possible and killing bosses rather than zooming around. Your 'vision' of the build drops off immensely at like T6 maps. You know how many LA/Barrage lvl97+ Deadeyes there are in Metamorph SC with an Aul's equipped?

 Yea, that's right. Zero. You know this very well, you're just choosing to ignore it. You have 2 characters in Metamorph. One's a Cheiftain the other one's a Mana Guardian. Literally the 2 tankiest ascendancies in the game. " This is completely irrelevant as all my suggestions include strictly items available in the league (unlike your PoB lmao) and progression tiered upon available budgets. Oh, and I don't have even remotely 'unlimited resources', otherwise all my gear would have a little 'Mirrored' tag on it, while in actuality none of it does. I've never even had an actual Mirror lol. Thanks for posting up this guide...fairly new to the game and finished epilogue now running all the various things I have never done before - for example temple missions for Alva.....
Really struggling as almost every yellow mob or boss is resistant to lightning, resistant to chaos and resistant to elements..... So, just really getting nailed and failing a lot...have incorporated some pets and ballista into my build as it's the only thing that does damage to these mobs, but takes way too long to kill.... |

I'm using your build on metamorph league, and it's pretty neat. A lil' bit squishy, but my damage are quite good (still need to improve them tho). My gear is almost the same as yours, I only need to craft a better bow than windripper (I also anoint Aul with "Deadly Inclinaisons" and add qualities on my rings). I juste have few questions : 1) Once your done with your mods & stuff on gear, does it worth it to corrupt it to 30% quality? (or is there a better corruption for it?) 2) To craft a good thicket bow, did you just prismatic fossil it until you get the mods you were searching with good stats (or divine them), then mutlimod it (like bow can have up to 3 crafted mod?)? 3) How did you manage to have 30% chance to deal double damage on your bow? (I'm pretty noob at crafting, sorry) Thanks for sharing! | |
