War Staff can only roll +2 to fire.

Ughhh, I just spent days and a ton of $$$ crafting a warstaff. Good to know.

Also, can someone explain Unleash in the 6L? I plated SRS years ago and we used Echo, but that was when we were trying to get as many skulls as possible. What does Unleash really add to the 6L over some of the other options?

it...unleashes multiple SRS with one click. makes burst dps possible and adds a layer of defense because you can keep moving instead of standing still
I quite don't understand why crafting "lvl 20 fortify" on staff is of any use.

As it says in Gamepedia, Fortify only grants reduced damage taken when hit.

that's the fortify buff you're looking at, supported are they by this supportgem

as you see it has 20-34% more(!!) melee damage and your SRS skulls do indeed use melee attacks!


i have another question, is melee phys dmg or elemental dmg with attacks a better option? build uses melee phys but elemental gives 35-54% more and phys gives 30-49% more
Used 2800alts last night rolling lvl 84 staff and never saw + 1-3 to all skills. Saw quite a few +3 fire. Not sure what the deal is. Did the same with war staff the night before and it seemed much easier to get fortify/fire/all skills rolls. I was going 150-200 alts in between seeing fire skills on the regular staff. Maybe just rng but maybe the regular staff has less likelihood of getting those mods.

trying the same alt spam on warstaff and normal staff (both elder based staff item lvl 86 and q20)

500 alts on both so far.

on warstaff i got 4-5 +2 fire gem and never a fortify
on normal staff i got 1-2 fortify and never a +x gem lvl


and ofc if i regaled it i didnt got the other mod !

SO is it even possible?

And btw build is still good (lvl 95 can be reached "easy" killing almost everything is possible) but to get a rly good end game build out of it it will be definetly a lot of EXes! I gues at least 40-60 ex to get the things y use! So plz remove 1ex budget!

Sadly i always choose the wrong builds ,-) Is it even possible to find a build with rly max 5-10 ex invest which can easy hit lvl 98+ and kill all content?

AGAIN as i meantioned before srs build is "good" used to do it years ago (life based with 50 srs and +3 lvl staff) and hitted lvl 98 easy (2 times)
