I'm trying to do heists with Alberon's Warpath build I have around 1000 str, and decent stats comparing with POB guide but I'm still dying almost every time when running rare 83 heists.
I'm I missing something obvious, probably something in the playstyle or this type or character isn't made for heists? My gear: |

I'm not using foreboding hybrid flask and I have withering step on my left click.

I am playing the alberons build as well, lvl 94, 5.2k hp, 1270str
most of the time I'm ok, but I found myself dying occasionally from time to time just from some random burst or boss shot (just got some frustrating death at boss while running a unique lvl 82 heist :crying:) Dunno, build dmg is totally fine but I feel like there is a quite huge luck factor around survivability. E.g. flask has just finished and dodge didn't work, and you got hit that moment, etc. Kinda doing everything like per guide: wc on left click, autocast withering step, hybrid flask uptime pretty much constant, quite good gear setup.. but still from time to time just dying. PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players. " Oh yea, that is sometimes happening to me too, but to me that is non issue really, the defense of that setup is well, same as chainbreaker version except you end up at less hp without better gear so its actually lower. But you gain like 2 times more dps in return. And the survivability is still above average compared to most builds so im fine with it. My builds:

Yeah, it works fine because in most situations, offense - is the best defense (uber elder fight, sirus fight, etc.)
However, on Heist runs you don't have a chance for luck or mistake :( But still, I prefer playing some build which keeps the feeling of some challenge because it makes me want to play. PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.
