[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

dropped the extra siege for method to madness cluster and working on optimizing the jewels...

other than that clear feels pretty good, regen packs and mobs with specific mods are annoying to deal with even after the damage riles up.

single target is a nightmare for me for some reason i just can't figure out how to fix this.. help please?

Hey, thanks.

I will use the Dirty Techniques annointment and that way I will be able to free 3 passive points, I will put those in defensive stuff, especially life. I'm just trying to find a good amulet because it costs like 50c to annoint it.

I've seen many use dirty techniques, but if you still struggle with one-shots I would recommend looking into hardened scars (an expensive annointment though). I don't think I could get similar one-shot mitigation from 3 skills points in my tree currently, but I haven't really experimented in PoB. I'm currently grinding for lvl 94 so I can manually reach dirty techniques in my tree instead.

Hehe yes I recognize the pain of placing an expensive annointment on a so-so amulet.

About jade flask, I didn't know that could roll, I will buy one now. Though I was using it to move fast in maps, maybe I will get another flask for it. I'm using a %40 damage increase flask I found but I'm not sure if that's a good idea.

Tbh I feel some QoL pain having a slower movement than I had before, but prior to my character re-factoring it was moving very fast but dying way too often instead. There are some really good movement speed boots (35% as well as some movement speed if killed recently enchants) to mitigate this some, but I currently have other priorities for my economy. The elusive buff from withered steps also helps a bit.

I don't use blood rage yeah, I don't have a problem with sustain, I just get one shotted, blood rage won't help that I guess, if I'm not missing anything.

With your regen (darkscorn/divine flesh) blood rage is basically a zero-cost investment for survivability and damage/QoL (attack speed). It wont mitigate one-shots, but if you reach e.g. my state of dodge/evade/mitigate, one-shots is not what kills me but rather chained near-kill-shots, and in this aspect blood rage is and essential tool in the recuperate life toolbox.

If you have problems fitting the gem in somewhere, I would consider, at least until you find other space, to (temporarily) replace the faster caster on your wither totem setup with blood rage.

I got a question, on circle of nostalgia, instead of increased buff effect, wouldn't chaos resistance would be better? I mean it gives like %40 chaos resistance and that would allow us to buy another item without chaos resistance. For example I'm using 2 of my crafted stuff on chaos resistance for %30 chaos.

Any ideas?

If you are running darkscorn/divine flesh, reaching the essential capped chaos resistance (85%) can be tricky, so I've seen many builds (poe.ninja) running nostalgias with increased chaos resistance and increased buff effect implicits. Notice that it's common to replace the increased chaos damage implicit and not the increased buff effect one.

Some also run 2 nostalgias (given you can sort out e.g. your life and resistances), one with chaos res/buff effect and one with chaos dmg/buff effect.

I'm experimenting myself with 2 pure damage nostalgias (both chaos dmg/buff effect) and reaching capped chaos resistances from gear instead, but as you mention this may come of the cost not having life/res/utils optimal gear elsewhere. I wrote a post/question about this trade-off at page 182 of this thread, but I'm yet to get an answer from someone on this topic.

Don't have access to PoB at the moment, does "increased HoA buff effect" give more damage than "increased chaos damage"?

When there are no trash mobs around to help spread poison, single target damage falls off a cliff... syndicate members are escaping from me easily even in low red maps. Any help with single target setup?
I have question. Circle of nostalgia what exactly means HoA has increased buff effect? What is buffed? Damage or attack speed or something else? Is this buffing HoA or your stats? Trying to figure out what is the difference between 70% buff and 100% buff. Is the extra 30% much noticable as the prices are much higher. If the cost effective to pay more exalts to have that buff higher (closer to 100%) ?

"Buff effect" is what HoA applies to you: 20% chance to poison on hit and 10% more poison damage.
Hey guys,

So, I have transitioned to Darkscorn which actually feels really great, better than expected.
Haven't died once ever since!
Want to reach at least 97 with Scourge Arrow.

The only thing is that you really feel the drop in DPS when it comes to bosses.

Im working on that though. Easiest DPS upgrades for me would be Chaos DOT on Amulet and Quiver, I guess? My amulet sucks , just a gap filler so I could mange my resistances for now.

Also, I crafted my Quiver myself, needed around 10 tries to achieve these mods:

Im pretty happy as every mod is useful for me and that makes it a pretty decent quiver. I will continue crafting another one on the side though.
I wonder one thing, do you believe its worth it slamming my Quiver with a Hunters Orb? In my understanding I have a chance to get

- Movementspeed
- +1 max chaos resistance (how much would that even be in damage reduction?)
- Pierce.... the one and only mod that would suck bad

Do you think its worth it? Not really without more DOT or attack speed i guess?

And if i want to craft an amulet myself, does anyone here have experience with it and can tell me something about which base to get and which mods you would look for?

Well, basically a buff is an effect that modifies your statistics.
It can be as anything and as simple as "+10% more Damage"or more complex.

Herald of Agony does have the following buffs:

"Grants a buff giving more poison damage and a chance to inflict poison"

In numbers: - Grants 20% chance to Poison on Hit
- Grants 10% more Poison Damage

Lets have a look at my CON

"HoA has 100% increased Buff Effect"

Please dont ask me how exactly this gets calculated, but lets assume that with 100% increased Buff its pretty much doubled Stats, so something like 40% poison on hit and 20% more damage with poison? Please someone correct me if im wrong. Just trying to explain what this does, not sure about the algorithm that happens behind the scenes.

Also, not sure if HoA other stats also get buffed, i dont think so as its the Agony Crawlers stats and not really player buffs.

This stuff here i mean:

Agony Crawler deals (6-12)% increased Physical Damage per Virulence you have
Agony Crawler has (2-3)% increased Attack Speed per Virulence you have
Agony Crawler has (1-45) to (3-84) Added Physical Damag

Which doesnt matter to me personally anyways, i think we only care about the poison chance and more poison damage.

Over and out.

Hi guys,

I'm having a lot of problems with single target DPS. I don't have a Darkscorn yet due to lack of currency (despite having a dream last night about finding a mirror and 66 exalt, I'm still broke in game). I am using Wither totem as was recommended for red maps. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

which one should I use? The base elder has no prefix to deal overtime damage, but has +1 level socketed gems

Elder better for you. you can find DOT in rare quiver. and dont need enhant mod despair on hit in gloves, it expensive. anyway, your bow have chaos dmg and non-mine

Use Malevolence and Precision aura.
replace your unique ring with 2 mod dmg of herald of agony, inc chaos dmg and buff effect.
