I have switch from The scourge to a rare sceptre, the damage boost is (very)nice, but in the same time the lost of the ability to use whirling blades and fortify sucks.
What do you think is the best for replacing it and keeping a good defensive boost ? Using a dagger and a sceptre shows a limitation in the movement skill list what I don't like :/ Last edited by Wothan on Mar 12, 2020, 8:38:15 PM

"I was wondering that too, but maybe with that new support gem stuff like Frostblink/Dash will be fast enough, or maybe even Lightning Warp. I'll have to experiment some to see. My guides:

Should I level with spirit offering or bone offering? Your guide has 1 on cast and 1 on CWDT, not sure if thats intentional.

I just wanted to point out that the spider damage was heavily reduced on PoB.
It went from 1111-1667 to 716-1015. That's 38% less damage. I doubt it's a bug from PoE, given that GGG has stealthly nerfed Chains of command as well (removed a 60% more multiplier, which also translate by a 38% less damage). If we check the PoB linked in the main post, we can see they no longer have 7 and 13,3M dps, but 4.26 and 9M dps. Last edited by Keyen on Mar 15, 2020, 2:45:42 PM

"What do you mean, spiders can't take damage. There's spirit offering for self cast when you want DPS and bone offering on CWDT for defense. My guides:
